Blizzard did this? I don't see any credits in the description. It's monetized here, too. Where's the link to Blizzard video. I want to support the original uploader.
Because game references is what you're thinking when you're entangled to a tentacle robot that is aiminig to blast some buildings to kill as many people as it can when you're about to selfdestruc your own unit... that happens hahaha
So is no one going to mention the fact that a kid has major ptsd to the point of having episodes with audio and video hallucinations? Not to mention the lack of worry for herself in a sense of a horrible coping system. Not only that but the rest of her team was killed. Blizzard really glossed that over huh
Dude, Australians used to be technologically advanced and buff, everyone sported mustaches and wrestled each other on the streets. Then the Australium cache ran out and New Zealand blew up...now it’s grounds for mercenaries fighting each other.
@@xamfoam1438 My brother is my friend. One of my best friends is great friends with his brother. The relationship between siblings and friends is different, so perhaps that is the more meaningful relationship to her.
I dunno, 06:54 hints at deeper feelings of desire on Hana's part. They meticulously animated her eye movements like a girl staring at a man she's in love with.
You'd kinda expect D.Va to be surrounded by technicians and scientists that always improve her Mech... instead of her being alone doing the repairs. Also there should be massive numbers of mechs for her already... considering maintenance, upgrades and battle damage take it out of action. Especially if she is currently the only defense the city has.
This is a game aimed principally for young audiences. So no, it doesn't have to be deep and accurate and realistic just to make it more interesting for adults. Kids wouldn't like it. Besides, I'm an adult and I totally enjoyed this, you don't have to dig deep on everything o have some entertainment. It's just a game anyway.
this would have been a good single player game where we follow most of the overwatch character's background story, they could have made a lot of money by making a standalone single player game of all overwatch character, being her storyline a first person mech shooter, i don't play overwatch so i don't know much about the other characters. There's a lot of potential that could be put into these games, not only to the multiplayer game, but they could franchise this into other individual single player games that people would enjoy to play on their free time without competing with a lot of folks (DLCs could be damn popular when this happens)
Soviet Fighter10- There was a meme about that. The caption was that EA said that Singleplayer games don’t work any more while the picture was of God of War.
No her team are designed to fight this gigsntic titan like robot (like the ones in the background of the Russian map) This omnic occasionally emerges from the water to destroy Korea. Originally the Korean government sent out unmanned drone but the omnic adapted to hack them. So they brought in professional gamers who have the reaction speeds, unpredictability, teamwork and adaptation to fight it off. That's what they were fighting and it's what they THOUGHT the red dot on the sonar was, but instead it was just these tentacle things.
Actually, that guy is closer to her than anyone. Does not necessarily mean that they have to bang, or can't just be friends. But he did a bigger step towards her than anyone. So no. Also not friendzone. That's a praise.
Yes this animated video always gives me the chills. Idk why, maybe because I put myself in these type of situations. But like whenever she ejects out of the mech I could feel her being pulled out. Idk.... but this video is the only one I always go back to.
Holy crap, and I have my AirPods in lol. I’m not even gonna lie, that made me flinch, despite my expecting it. I thought it’d be a screech or something, I guess.
Mason Webb actually I would say with the way D VA is looking at him and smiling at him while saying that, she is implying they will have some good snoo snoo tonight.. now if she said BEST FRIEND that is a whole different story
Killa Queen how dare you suggest single player the blizzard fan base will face fuck you in to the ground ... however I agree it’s shit the game don’t have single player when there own events have proven it could have a great one
Okay, Blizzard, I want this. Seriously, I want all of this! I want an Overwatch movie, a TV series, I want more of the characters and lore! The game is cool, but when I see stuff like these character shorts, it makes the game feel kinda hollow. LET ME ENJOY THE FULL AND AMAZING WORLD AND CHARACTERS YOU CREATED!!! LET ME LOVE YOU!!!
Because the game IS hollow. This is WAY MORE backstory than a game dedicated to all the stuff you can do online with a game like Call of Duty should have
This is some good animation! 9/10 . We need more like this. Plus, I didn't know that her life was so dark. I thought her life would be ok? I got mad Respect for DVA.
If the Honor and Glory short taught me anything, D.va’s friend (I think she said his name was Tayhun) will be an playable hero in the future. Maybe a support mech of some kind?
The same time we get infinite blinks for tracer a translocator that last multiple minutes, the ability to hack the environment and Reaper will get grenades.
they actually replied to all the people asking for a movie and they said they want to focus on the game more and they dont have the funding to make a movie yet.
Because they'd have to take a certain aproach, picking the characters in the game that would be the main characters and what story line would be the most interesting one. If it were me i would pick the story line before the game, when overwatch was operating and end the movie with them disolving, it would be lik the G.I Joe movie.
Oh my god I almost cried cuz I thought she was fricking dead but she’s not she’s okay holy heck this was amazing I was cheering for her the whole time they should totally make a series or a movie
Blizzard didn't really write the Warcraft movie, and I'm pretty sure they didn't have a lot of control over it. Plus he movie was just a retelling and slightly watered down version of the story from Warcraft 1, which isn't a great story anyway, especially for a movie. Not to mention Blizzard's writing as a whole has gotten better since Warcraft 1, and these Overwatch shorts are a pretty good example of that. So as long as they keep that level of quality we see in these, I don't see why a full length movie would be bad.
@@Xynth22 costs of cgi and risk with it that's why marvel for example does not want to make planet hulk and instead took pieces from it into thor: ragnarök ...
I think it's propoganda for two reasons. 1, that's their most effective line of defense, five frontline young adults who started off as video gamers. 2, if the omnics are smart enough to evolve and hack automatic defenses and constantly get tougher and tougher, probably broadcasting 'our defenses are down' to them wouldn't be a wise idea. Instead saying 'hey, they're perfectly fine and combat ready' is a far better bluff.
ManThe Tower i feel like the universe and story could be so much more deep and embellished if it was actually aligned with the game itself, like there being some sort of game mode or campaign that’s not just 6 on 6 pvp
There are special events where you can play story mode online against the omnic. First one had a few members in the original overwatch uniforms, it was great.
The story and universe is just there to draw your attention in so you'll buy the game. Alas, Blizzard didn't think too well in how they could make the game sync well with its universe.
I need this to be a movie series. Like one movie for each legend and then the movie that brings them all together! And its gotta be produced by these guys cause holy shit its fucking fantastic!!
From my memory, Overwatch was originally a movie. Well, what Blizzard was going to do was a movie, but they cancelled that really early on in favour of a video game, Overwatch.
No, Overwatch was going to be some sort of super hero video game (I think it was some sort of MMO RPG?) but was scrapped and then revived into the Overwatch we know today. The plans for a movie is just a rumor.
Prior to this video the fandom made her seem as if she was a gremlin, not caring for responsability or duty.Just wanting to eat doritos, drink mountain dew and play games. The truth is that she actually demands a lot from herself and is dedicated to the greater good.
It's funny how her calling him a friend that's always there for her was meant to be a kind of "She learned to ask for help instead of doing everything alone." character development thing, but in reality he just got friend zoned hard, poor guy.
