Hazardous and player like this are reason we have toxic gameplay and yea that attitude is OK in quick play where it's just a game but when it comes two comp it's just a game does not work.
It doesn't matter if you think your team is doing badly, or if they actually are. As soon as you start the immature raging blame game, you make it uncomfortable for your whole team, and performance suffers as a result. Just mention that it would be better if they do such-and-such, or offer an alternative strategy. Or if you wanna rage turn your damn mic off.
Agreed, just tilts the team. For people using chat, there's very little actual shot calling or calling out where the team is coming into the point from.
I think it depends. In one match we insulted each other after losing the first round, so it was like everyone started to play better to prove wrong the others and we ended up winning lol even the guy who picked Widow to throw did some sick ass headshots
I left League Of Legends a while back because practically every game I got toxic players, sadly. I really hope that doesn't happens to overwatch. I love the game.
That guy kept asking why his team wasn't carrying him hard enough lol "Why didn't anyone help me with the rienhardt?" "Why didn't I get any heals" Like bro learn to take care of yourself in solo queue. Your team can't be your babysitter.
tbh your team was playing like trash. Spamming down rein shield while entire team dies, reaper not flanking and a lucio who doesn't know when to switch modes. i can see where the anger can come from
I mean tbh, the Lucio was trash and was not being very helpful, so I can see where his anger stems from. I hate Lucio players who don't know when it's time to switch to healing, that's why I usually pick him before anyone else can.
Remy Beast I've ran into Lucio players that stay on speed boost the entire game and let their teammates die. Never again. After two encounters like that, I started maining him so no one I run into would have to suffer with that bullshit again.
Speed boost actually makes the neutral game better in some situations. You move faster and you're harder to hit. If you have double heals (probably not Zenyatta) its okay to speed boost some engagements if you have a good fallback healer like Mercy or Ana.
Referring to the first round in control center, they were getting shredded. It isn't like he used speed boost to get away from any major ults or used it for a coordinated push on a weak straggler. He should've left it on healing the entire time. Plus, he had like one break it down for the entire round. Pretty weak.
The Lucio was the last person to chose a character and you guys needed a healer so he probably just chose the hero he thought would be the easiest to heal the team with
Yea, I doubt that. Every game I'm in there's really salty and just disgusting players in there. I have the game on both and it's about the same. PC players are soso, but still toxic obviously.
I have personally received hate messages from that same player. I always lose when he's on our team. I feel sorry for any team he's on, even the opposing team (also secretly relieved cause it means we're going to win).
Nah, just some people aren't great but still manage to make it to diamond on PS4. This gameplay isn't representative of the skill in diamond, it looks like other gameplay videos of low plat and gold that I've seen.
That winston was suicidal and blaming people for not backing him up. Noobcake. He probably got carried so hard to diamond by his friends that probably arent his friends anymore lol
His 99% Winston usage compared to other hero's XD He's one of those nubs that expects his team to conform to his playstyle every game, and when they don't, they suck!
This is diamond? This reminds me of when I was in the low gold ranks, at *best*. Oh, the elusive power of console never ceases to amaze me. Well, playing badly still doesn't mean you should get death threats aimed at your family.
I feel your pain Tawn, I play on PS4 also and generally solo que all the time. The most common scenario in console solo que is that you get one or two players who cooperate, and then the rest of the team simply does whatever they want. Currently there is no way for us to block players via Overwatch, in order for us to block them or even report them, we have to do so through PSN which is pretty much useless. Blizzard really needs to address this issue, because both of those options are available on PC versions and this game is really close to being one of the most horrible console ports ever. Not because of gameplay or mechanics, simply because of the community.
When I play Lucio I'm mostly in speed mode. His passive healing is so bad it's almost non-existent, however I just stay attentive, switch to it every twelve seconds to Amp it Up or just when the team is is overall danger I'll use it just to mitigate some dps, otherwise I use speed and it works fantastic.
People need to learn when to switch between speed and heals. I always speed boost and amp it up when a dangerous ult comes in like D.VAs self destruct or Meis blizzard, so my team has the best chance of escaping.
Not being funny, but he was playing Winston, the last thing he should be complaining about is other people not doing there part when he's getting into the thick of it and not flanking
I find it funny that they blame the Lucio when I can see multiple things they couldve changed to improve their chances of winning. Like Roadhog is bad vs that comp and could switch to Zarya which helps combo and keep reaper alive longer in fights.
You do realize it's on console right? I mean he might be using a keyboard but still if he's using a controller it's already pretty amazing. I can tell you one thing tho. That Genji is a keyboard user. He has to be a god with the controller to play like that.
I'm not saying that everyone on console is bad. It's just that there are certain things you can't do with a controller at least not without a lot of practice and how it compares to PC.
Speed boost should be your default, but as soon as your team is under heavy fire you need to switch. That lucio stayed on speed boost far too much. Also with zen as the other healer you need to stay on healing boost more often.
This is obviously played on a PS4, and playing on a controller is a lot more difficult than mouse and keyboard. I play on console, and I can tell you this is a good reaper. Most of the time Reapers on console are only good for their ults, this guy is very involved in team fights and knows when to get in and out. If you commented on this video just to be an asshole, and say this is bad reaper gameplay, then you're probably a toxic player yourself
Kestickle He isn't focusing on targets like Zenyatta when he's next to him, I feel like his reaper gameplay involves him getting overwhelmed with too many good picks, that by the time he processes his surroundings the opportunity to get some picks is gone and that's why it's not good reaper gameplay
As a Winston player, you need to be able to recognize when you aren't doing anything for your team. Even if you're doing fine, if you're team's being the problem you need to be the solution and change how you're playing or swap heroes.
I got a dude just like this today, the dps was blaming me for everything when I was playing zen, and even attempted to convince people to report me for trolling. He even got one other person on the team to also report me, this is why I barely played comp in season 2 and don't really play healer a lot
Am I missing something? It may be just me or did it seam like the enemy team had all Ults every engage? I mean how many dragon blades and Gravs was that in 1 round?
"You guys just don't want to help ME, just yourselves!" Claims everyone is playing for themselves when he's literally getting mad about HIM being killed.
"God damn healer." "I had no backup." Yea that's what happens when you run off on your own and don't stick with the team. People expecting the team to work for just them are fucking ridiculous.
It's really entertaining to listen to him call out 3-4 different characters, then get mad when "nobody helps him" with a 5th character, because they're going after the ones he called out.
I hate people with more than 2 star on my team! they never change their champ and always play offence hero and suck really bad idk why, when I check their profile they have more than 100+ hr on yhat 1 hero like wtf
the problem i think with game 1 was the DPS kept attacking the tanks and DPS who would quickly be healed by the healers. try to target the healer first so they do not heal the people you are killing. another issue i see is people kept firing into zariah's sheild charging it. one issue that was brought up by someone was you kept isolating yourself in the team fights and going 1/1 instead of fighting as a group even though you where grouped up. by game 3 you had a teammate who was trolling there was no way to win that one
Man, i can't stand those people who rage and throw the game by using an off-meta hero and doing nothing. Most of those picks are already unpopular, don't give them an even worse name by throwing because your team wasn't working out.
0mn0m8w31rdc4ndy Honestly, I never see console players go out of their way to insult PC players. But PC players have entire subreddits dedicated to hating consoles. It's actually really embarrassing.
AOWPIND either he's having an awful match or he's not playing on his own account. Diamond players are a lot better on console than what's being shown, keep in mind his team is also raging like crazy so it's an inevitable defeat
Depends on the game. If it's overwatch you can try lowering your sensitivity. Start it at like 30 if your aim is bad. Increase it by 5 the more comfortable you get. Also kontrol freak grips for the sticks help. I don't use them but I know a lot of people who sware by them.
Bingus Dingus increase your sensitivity and go around on the moving pads in training with widow and try to get 6 each time around without missing a headshot
+Bryan Acevedo No it depends, you only want high sensitivity with CQC heroes, with long range heroes you want a lower sensitivity. What's good about Overwatch is you can change it for every hero, so you can have a very high sensitivity with Tracer, but a super low one with Hanzo and that is beautiful.
yea he raged way too much but to be fair the lucio was on speed boost way too much espically for having a zen as the other healer. if ana or mercy were the other healer the lucio could get away with that much speed boost. also the lucio didnt speed boost the raging guy onto the point when he first got pissed he still shoukdnt have raged made him self look dumb
Well, this type of stuff really isn't that common. This is coming from a PS4 player. So, not really fair to make blanket statements on things you know nothing about.
Lol I saw this guy (the Winston) on PS4 and he messaged me I was trash after a competitive mode match. Honestly, I understand our loss was kind of my fault because I was confused on what character to be based off of our trainwreck of a team comp. And, I'm a tad too shy/scared to communicate via mic (sorta because I'm a girl and I'm uncomfortable talking to randoms unless we're an organized group, if you know what I mean) but nonetheless, it's my fault for not communicating. TBH after hearing this guy's voice, I'm kinda scared of what he would've said to me at the time, but it's in the past now. I'm glad to know that other people think that this guy a piece of shit :) Funny to see that he switched consoles tho (PS4 to Xbox???)
OH whoa at first I was like, "He's the only one communicating" but I totally confused him for the one person trying to communicate... No, yeah. This guy's a bag of rocks
I was in a comp match today, and s guy named SKB POOP3R kept bossing everyone around, telling us to "go bastion, go rein, go tracer". We all ignored him. And EVEN THOUGH WE WON, he got all mad.
So he has a problem with lucio running from the point to stay alive, yet towards the end he does exactly that to stay alive. He actually stayed off the point a majority of the time and was just on the side line to stay alive
"Super toxic player" .... *click* .... *click to pause* .... "Hm, I'm not up there...so it can't be TOO bad, then... Wait, what does that say? Hold square to... Oh, oh god... This is a CONSOLE level of toxic..." ... *grabs beer* .... "Well, here we go!"
