My english bulldog lived to be 11.5 years old and never had one health problem. He never had people.food and was never over fed. It's common for people to o er feed these dogs. This dog is overweight be aise of irresponsible owners! God save bulldogs from bad people! ❤

.....the dog is not battling his weight. his owners are over-feeding him. most animals are gunna eat as much as you feed them, so how about we put the responsibility on the person whos creating the problem?

Our relationship with them has a long history for practical purposes originally. Some dogs are still maintaing their ancient tasks, while others not. Maybe the time to reconsider it, as our consciousness towards their welfare, healthy life is raised. That holds particularly on the breeders' side. For a brighter future!

because they can’t choose when to get in and out, and have to get lifted up. plus a tub is slippery. also, not all dogs love water nor can all dogs swim

btw those julius k9 harnesses are really bad for dogs, especially breeds like bulldogs that are already prone to spine and joint problems

They are undeniable very cute but breeding when there are strays and abandoned animals to be adopted is not right

That’s not true. Responsible ethical breeding is as much part of animal welfare as rescuing. BUT English Bulldogs are extremely overbred and suffer by default. The issue of homeless dogs and breeding is a lot more complicated than just saying adopt don’t shop.

@nomorepikachu breeding in itself isn't ethical especially knowing that this breed and most other breeds that humans 'created' and continue to create suffer... well i would rather try to heal than to create suffering. But each to its own
