I don't know if it was what you were going for, but Canon reminds me of watching an intense lightning storm especially with that booming rough bass, it's like when you're watching a storm and out of nowhere lightning just blows up a tree or powerline pole. Also Toccata just has amazing power behind the pipe organ! I especially like the little homage to Bach's Toccata and Fugue with those little stepping rhythms! To be honest I only discovered your music within the past few weeks, but so much of your music resonates with me on such a personal level I'm convinced you are my soulmate of music, nothing else I've listened to encompasses all of my musical tastes so eloquently!
@@Inexpressable For me theres not that big of a difference. Made a test and only got 2/6 correct www.npr.org/sections/therecord/2015/06/02/411473508/how-well-can-you-hear-audio-quality?t=1589714975691
TheDjTotzy I can't believe it took me this long to figure out that I already knew the melody xD especially considering that the rest of the album was blatantly obvious.
I have frission every time i hear this, you dont expect it to turn intense at 00:35, and the buildup to the drop.. its insane. And yes, i had to look it up, its called frission - its those goosebumps you get when the music turns 180 degrees.
This was my shit when I was an 11 year old in 6th grade. Just came across your name again and revisited. I’m 18 now and still enjoy looking back at your old work!
Without a doubt one of the best tracks I ever whitnessed, I love how the classical was interpreted here, and the sudden melodic anti tempo at the later drop lifts you into a dyonisic sphere. Masterpiece.
Great! I an happy to listening to this music. This is in beginning, Bedrich Smetana - Ma vlast (My country), part Vltava (this is a river in the Czech Republic). Well done :-)
Real talk : Its the first time i hear someone make this trick in a music, playing with the speed from fast to slow. It change completely the style of the song. Its just INSANE im still chocked after 1 hour of listening it. GG man
I cannot fathom how much inspiration it requires to create such wonderful art as this. No matter how many times I listen to OVERWERK'S music, it still sends shivers down my spine ( in a good way ).
has this album disappeared from both spotify and soundcloud for anyone else? i have no idea where its gone and it sucks because this song is one of my favourites of his
Wow, OVERWERK is the GOD of electro! Nobody makes music like this, I love the fact that he created his own unique sound. Its just a matter of time until we hear this in movies. Canon on repeat!!!
I love how he's progressively made his music more and more unique to that electro-cinematic sound. Literally 10 or 15 seconds of orchestra! :D I'm loving it; keep up the good work!
...the fuck did i just heard??? I the 4th time i listen to this song in a row... is just AWESOME! Somebody wrote "eargasm" and i can't give a better description of what i felt. wow, just...wow
A friend told me listen to some real POWERFUL music, first of all the intro sounds pretty calm and I thinked that he trolled me for no reason and after waiting a few more seconds the music turned out to be one of my top favorite songs. Thank you!
For those who are interested: "Smetana ~ Moldau" is the work on which this is based :) Link to the piece: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3G4NKzmfC-Q.html
I'm fairly certain this is my favorite OVERWERK song. I absolutely love the classical intro and themes throughout this piece. I wish he would write more pieces like this.
Whaaat? I'm a huge fan, but this one.. this one blew my mind... Insane song, perfect classical touch, and the beat, the crescendo... This is the new soundtrack, when i'm asleep in my dreams, saving the world... again.. !
