Ugh, however do leave an orphanage without taking a babe with you? So endearing and heartbreaking to see. Love all the differences you two making in others lives. Remember, it isn't just you two being affected by your presence, those whom you meet, even briefly and us watching at home. I am just loving you two!😘😁😍

What a humbling experience. I remember both being homeless and eating at these kitchens in my childhood, as well as a little volunteering during better times, being where I am now it really reminds me what the struggle is like and to know what I have now, just food at my disposal and a room to sleep in, are such luxuries compared to so many. Thank you for this beautiful vlog! Those children were adorable, and I'm not really a kid person but I felt moved this time. Can't wait to have my own experiences like you two (: It's so funny because I'm actually watching crash course economics from that same channel, haha.

Hannah & Leon Vlogs God Bless you and your Parents for extending an olive branch to a child in need. Your parents are heroes and seem to have raised wonderful children. This world is a better place with y'all in it. God Bless you and your loved ones, always.

Also, Crash Course and everything John Green (and his brother Hank) does is amazing. Definitely check out the vlogbrothers. You'll be glad you did. And read John's books. Start with Looking for Alaska.

These videos are so old now. I have just come across similar ones. If I visited the orphanage.. id take a big bucket of ice cream for the kids. They need toys to play with.. bikes to ride. Balls to throw .. books to read.

There seems to be some cuteness overload here. Why do the kids have that style of haircut?
@flyingthenest
@flyingthenest 8 лет назад
They said it was to do with the Buddhist religion and also a style the children have in the local area the orphanage is located.

Jess you were talking about the boys haircuts at the orphanage, but your words were covered by background noise. Would you mind repeating what you said? thank you.
@flyingthenest
@flyingthenest 8 лет назад
+Susan Mckee I think it's either because of their Buddhist religion or something they do with all the children in the village the orphanage is in

How many at the food kitchen actually NEED the food or is it a cheap place to eat. I saw many who did but workers in hard hats???
@flyingthenest
@flyingthenest 8 лет назад
Many workers are being paid $1USD a day to provide for their entire family, so some of the local workers come to eat here during their lunch breaks.
