OVERWHELMING PRICES AT KROGER!!! - This Is Getting Crazy! - What Now!? - Daily Vlog! 

I feel so bad for families when groceries are getting higher and higher everyday. It is also hard for us seniors who are on a fixed income. Thank you Danno and Jess for keeping us informed❤😊

Our trip to Meijer yesterday was downright scary. Higher prices than the last time we were there. I left with a lot of the 7 for 7 deals, I guess they were deals. Sometimes I think if they can sell the stuff at 7 for 7, they could sell them for a dollar all of the time.

Thanks Danno for your effort to save us money. These places should be ashamed of themselves for the price gouging! If the prices really need to be this high, I say " prove it!". Hope you and Jess are doing well✌️

Over the last three days, I have been to three Kroger stores and one thing I seem to observe is that they are a LOT less crowded lately. People are finding other stores which are more economical.

I know it takes a little time but I want to encourage people to start cooking/baking homemade. The convenience is not worth the price. I made a triple batch banana bread yesterday. It took about 30 mins to gather ingredients and mix together and then about a hour hands off to bake. Well eat 1 and put 2 in the freezer. I cannot believe how much they want for pre-made potato salad, pasta salad, and coleslaw. All three use fairy cheap ingredients and are pretty easy to make. Do what you can with what ya got! SHAME SHAME SHAME on ALL the cereal companies for the outrageous prices on their cereals!!!! So many poor children used to rely on cereal to keep them alive! Now they can't even get cereal to fill screaming empty bellies!!! A crying shame that GREED has overtaken ALL these cereal companies!

Not enough sales for me to make a trip to Kroger this week. I think that one of the reasons for the price increases in the baked goods is the cost of the plastic packaging. Plus, baking ingredients have increased as well. Baking cookies at home is much cheaper and they taste so much better!

Hi Dano. I bought 4 Banquet pot pies on sale for 4/$5 a few weeks ago and gave my brother 2 of the regular chicken pot pies and kept 2;of the chicken and broccoli for myself. One of mine had no veggies the other had 1 tiny piece of broccoli and 1 tiny carrot shred they both had some chicken and gravy. One of my brothers had 1 pea and chicken and gravy. The other didn't have any veggies. Definitely no buying them again. Will make my own. Thanks for all you do. God bless. 👍😃❤️🙏

There is no reason these prices are this out of hand. If people would quit paying for the extremely high priced, they would have to quit it or lose money. They lose enough money, they figure it out. Also, the pot pies have about four diced carrot pieces, same with celery, and two piddly pieces of beef or chicken. They are not filling at all.

Marie Callender's pot pies are nuts in price lately. I buy them at WALMART for $3.48, where they were $2.54 a little more than a year ago. That's $1 more in less than a year. That's what...30-40 percent more now?

Kroger is only viable for shopping their sales, digital coupons, and store brands. The regular prices on brand names just aren’t affordable. And you are correct about saying Kroger puts things “On Sale” with the air quotes. Also, those refrigerated salsas are great!

You can make 10 pounds of potatoe salad for a lot less than Kroger cost for the small containers. Plus the potato salad is much better yummy make your own. 🙏❤🙏❤🙏😋😋😋

I just watched a video from a guy that took a trip thru the mall in Fl. It Was almost deserted. empty stores, food court had very few people in it. the restaurant had 2 people in it and this was Friday during lunch hour. when I went to malls years ago it was a zoo, not anymore. I have also heard in the past some of the bigger owners of these malls are in bankruptcy protection. People don't have the money anymore.

Never heard of King Super until yesterday when I saw an ad.

It’s every where, all over the world increasing prices. We see it every day, it’s only going to get worse. Stock up on things like beans and rice, instant potatoes, noodles, powder milk, powder peanut butter etc.. get more for your money and the food will go further. You can also buy organic produce and start seed savings from there. Buy instant coffee, extra seeds, miniature bottles of alcohol- stuff like that to barter with. It’s not all doom and gloom, I hope this helps someone. Chin up and God is with us always. Publix bakery prices have gone out the roof. 12 inch chocolate fudge cake used to be 12.00. 25.00 now, yes, that's right, 25.00 dollars. I will not be able to shop there anymore. I have been a loyal Publix shopper for over 35 yrs. No more.

We shop Kroger for the sales but some things we won't be buying even on sale any more. My husband wanted a pudding cake. We've been buying them for years. The most we have paid was probably $6.99 and we get the coupons through the mail from Kroger that knocks off $1.25. So...we had a coupon for a cake and I let him go get it without me. When we rang it up I nearly fainted. $9.99 but it was on sale for$8.99 without the coupon. We decided to enjoy this one because it will be the last one. We had a coupon for a free peanut butter. The Coke bottle 6-pks were 4 for $15. I only buy them on sale but I'm afraid they are going to be too expensive soon. I love Kroger but I can see where they may price themselves beyond our reach before much longer. Scary and sad.

My last shopping trip i bought a lb. of german bologna 3.99 a lb. and hamburger rolls on discount .75 a pack of 8(bought 2). That will last me for the week.

We slowed down our limited ice cream buying toma grinding halt about this time last year ('22) but bought a tub this past week. I can't tell you what the price was because we looked for the type we wanted over brand and also cost; one of those purchases you make without overly looking at the price tag. What was eminently obvious were the size and shrinkflation throughput the entire ice cream case; at a second look, even some of the oval containers had shrunk even though at a first glance it wasn't obvious.

I don't know if I've tried Del Monte diced mangoes in a can that sounds good like I could get a case of those and just stay in the basement for a while

I noticed something that I wanted to alert people about, too. With the Simple Truth stuff ,the simple truth is- it isn't all organic. It is simply unfair to the customer how they coast on the brand being "organic" when it isn't. I've noticed there are a LOT of Simple Truth items that are not organic, which means that the item that is a Simple Truth conventional product is just sitting there costing more money. For example: the Simple Truth almonds and pistachios are not organic, but the walnuts are. (Of course the walnuts cost considerably more, but that's a LOT better than being ripped off with two non-organic conventional items side by side. This is in my store but I suppose the results may vary.

I agree, it isn't coming down anytime soon but I am afraid when it does drop it will be just a little and that will be the new standard prices. remember things eventually go up just not this fast.

The only time I buy bakery items is if I can find something on the day old rack, prices are just nuts !! Not sure if your Kroger has a discontinued shelf but, our smaller Kroger does & I found 3 Boxes of Pop Tarts & 6 Jiffy PB for 90cents each on my last trip. They were even a year from exp. date, thought I won a lottery 🤣

It's a joke up here in Canada. There used to be No Name cheeses that came in large and small packages. Of course you payed less per pound if you purchased the large size. But then the prices went up, and the large package size over time dropped from 700g to 400g. So, it's pay more, and get almost half as much. The small package size stayed the same since if it was reduced any more, it would look like a FREE product sample size. Anyhow, if I purchase the small size, it's cheaper per pound than the large. Oh yes, the Campbell's mushroom soup. I used to get that for 89 cents per can. But then the price went up to almost a dollar more. And then there was Chunky. I was shocked at how much the price went up. But then I looked even closer and noticed that the can size now was 515g rather than the original 540g size.

Both Walmart and Kroger sell the identical black forest mini cakes in my area . They come in frozen. Walmart charges $6 and Kroger charges $7. I can make a full size cake for that with no preservatives or junk in it.

Our Kroger has carried 2 sizes of Marie Callendar pot pies for years. The larger ones are really too many calories for one person, so the smaller size is sometimes useful.

I have been collecting food now so that I can make my own dog food. One thing I can't find is canned pumpkin. I guess it's seasonal? My stores in upstate NY are Weis and Wegmans, Walmart, Aldis.

Boars Head deli Tri-Tip Rump Roast $17.99+tax/lb at my Frys a.k.a Kroger in AZ. I therefore purchased the whole roast at Sams'Club $7.48 to $8.48 per pound.

Kroger's is one of the highest price grocery stores in the United States. I won't even set foot in one of their stores!
