2D Mario is back, baby!
I'm super stoked to jump into the Flower Kingdom with some old friends and some new faces as well! I haven't been able to get that darn trailer theme out of my head, so you know what that means- remix time! The vocal synths in the trailer theme were immediately so iconic to the identity of this game that I just knew that I had to recruit the help of the WONDERful ACappellaVGM, who makes amazing arrangements of iconic game music with just his voice. I've been a fan of his for quite a while now, so it was awesome to meet him and work with him on this! We still haven't heard the entire overworld theme for this game, this arrangement was based on a fusion of the first theme at the beginning of the trailer fused with what we can assume is the athletic theme that is present in the final section. I had a bunch of fun cramming as many Mario tune references as possible into this thing, so see if you name them all!
