@@bluebottle1617 Morrisons themselves state that having an SIA license on full display is an expectation they have of their Security Officers. They say so in the video linked below at around 2 mins and 55 secs in. I don't know if it's a legal requirement though but I'd say it's a reasonable expectation at least m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E-ezfs45ZVw.html&pp=ygUaTW9ycmlzb25zIHNlY3VyaXR5IHJvdXRpbmU%3D
For a start the guards are doing wrong one of them should be stood at the cctv podium In case this was a distraction Tss security no training given to these guys by poor management
Because the English don't want to work and the business needs to operate. You used to say immigrants steal your jobs. Years after Brexit the economy is dying, who do you blame now? Politicians? Putin? Aliens?
mate I work for tss and first day of training you are told all of the things which these clowns didn't do. u can't accuse someone unless you have followed ASCONE. Approach (approached item on shelf), selection (of said item), concealment, observation, non payment, exit. these guys are proper embarrassments to security
Afraid of being tabled a racist, my observation is that a lot Not all but a lot of Indian and Pakistani security guard seem to be very highly stung and lack de escalation skills. Just saying thats what I see.
You can film in public area's however Morrisons is a private company so if request to not film then there rules security officers are poorly trained and majority are clueless I'm glad I left this industry 👎
This is terrible, them rude clowns are a disgrace to the security industry, you done well to keep your cool, i would of demanding to speak to the store manager and police for harrassment and profiling a customer, i been security officer for years, they have no right and powers to search unless they have evidence ie cctv footage, of someone commiting a offense, i would of sacked these clowns and never allowed to obtain a sia again, they clown are right you can not film in the store private property, coming from a cctv operator, doorman, security officer, they commited assault just touching and tapping you by trying to remove you. i would sue the morrisons and the security firm. they are insecure because they aint got a glue about securty, they know they are. abusing there powers and your rights. train obviously by a cowboy firm.
They shouldn't be in the job as the way they are treating a customer they've accused of stealing without any proof & even after the customer shows them inside his bag they ridicule him also with the store manager in their company he's as bad. I would demand to get the security companies head office details & also morrisons head office & put complaints in each one. I would not shop in that store again after the way the customer was treated being called a shop lifter in front of staff & customers without any proof. !!!
@@alanfizzypop9607 As long as they are alright,,with millions being spend on accomodation and the like,,,,and we cant see a doctor,, Merry Christmas 😂🏴
Is law to provide identification to the enforcement security, same happen after dropping receipt leaving the store. It was the litter offence. Security officer take details and fined £150.
I've had EXACTLY the same problems with these clowns at EXACTLY the same store. Although my problem was in relation to 4 WEEK EXPIRED CHICKEN being sold at this store. A security guard assaulted me and tried smashing my camera for filming. Morrisons head office has tried to cover up the incident.
Typical foreign security guards don't no English law I work for mitie at sainsburys as a guard and if u work in the puplic sector there is no right to privacy
Is it the Morrisons in Great Britain? Sorry for asking the question but I come from Poland and getting bit confused what is actually going on here on the video 😮
Thank you for your question. Yes, this is a Morrisons in London, Great Britain. What's happening here is that I was falsely accused of stealing in this store for roughly the 5th time. I complained via email after the 4th time and yet was falsely accused a 5th time so I decided to film for evidence. The Security officials reacted very poorly in my opinion as they were under the belief that filming them was illegal however this isn't true as in the UK it's perfectly legal within reason especially in a situation like this
@@petermartinaitis8166 I didn't try and provoke anybody, they even admit in the video that they approached me 😂. Only filmed coz this was the 5th time they had done this without any sort of reason and I'd complained before by email but nothing came of it
Before someone says they're around their necks then I would say a security officer must have his/ her SIA on display for all to see & not have it hidden !
These so called security officers all hold a SIA badges of which are not on show but should be but none of them have a clue or understand A.S.C.O.N.E this has to be followed before a stop can be made if only one of these steps is missed a stop should never be made... All those officers should lose the right to hold a SIA badge and a private prosecution should be taken out on each and everyone of them by the guy that they stopped.......
Now this days most of the security companies hire security from agencies run by Pakistany. They hire all students n care workers came from Asia. Who work 8.50 an hours cash hand. This is why security industry going down hill.😡😡😡😡
😂😂😂 the security company is a cowboy outfit mate of mine worked for them 😂😂😂😂😂 no display of sia id start calling rhe SIA first get their licences taken
cant lie the morrisons do that where i live, the second i walk into the store the security gaurd at the cctv podium thing starts following me around and right before i leave they ask to search my jacket nd shit
They are actually right, technically. You aren't allowed to film inside the shop. They can kick you out for that. But it is a good policy to film all encounters incase things go to court once an incident like this occurs.
Unfortunately they're not right, it may their policy to disallow filming but they're claiming it's the law, as one even says at 3:24 however despite the common misconception there is actually no UK law that prohibits filming in a supermarket. The Police arrived shortly after this video and said the same. To be clear I'm not having a go at you as I understand it's a common misconception. Yes I filmed for my safety and for evidence as after my previous complaints not much was ever done
Its not a public place. Its a private premises hence why they employ security and if asked to leave you must comply or can get arrested for trespassing. They also have the right to detain you under citizen arrest if they believe you're shop lifting or have committed any other offences that must be dealt with by the police. You're right that they can't search your person without permission but they are allowed to search bags and refusal to do so gives them the right to kick you out. Just because it's open to public access doesn't mean its a public place. A bar is open to public access but is still private and there are rules to follow.
Police showed up after the video ended and said that I am legally allowed to film, yes I can be asked to leave that is correct but they had told me that they were calling the police and at other points told me not go anywhere, I didn't leave because the police had already been called so they would've been able to say that I ran off if I'd left which makes me look guilty. They can only search my bags if they're unattended which they weren't or if I give permission. They can detain me under citizens arrest however if it turns out I haven't committed a crime which I hadn't then they run the risk of being charged with false imprisonment. During opening hours public laws apply in regards to filming so perfectly allowed to film, they have the right to ask me to stop under their policy but policy is not the law and if I'm filming a potential crime being committed or for my protection then I don't have to stop. They were also filming me so seems only fare that I can film them. Also worth noting that their website doesn't say anything about not being allowed to film nor are there any signs in store. If there's no signs in the store that clearly say No Filming then they can't enforce this policy
@@goonom6265 why would you take a camera into Morrisons in the first place? It's things like that which make it difficult for people to do their job. Whether they have a policy or not they can refuse service to whoever they like. Its provocative to walk into a store with a camera anyway and would come down to tresspass if asked to leave even if you think you're allowed to film
@@jaycee2631 @JayCee Ok so you you definitely didn't watch the full video. I didn't bring a camera in I filmed this in my phone because I was stopped by security and falsely accused of stealing for the 5th time each time no stolen items were found, I had complained about this after the 4th time and nothing came of it. So this time I filmed them which again I'm legally allowed to do, this was to have my own account of events and to insure that they wouldn't behave inappropriately towards me. There are other videos of these guards on another channel and they had very little issue with being filmed then only one suggested turning the camera off in those videos because they believed the were in the right. They didn't want me filming coz they knew they had no justified reason for suspicion and they knew how the video would make them look. I didn't walk in with a camera and start filming anyone, I went in to shop like everyone else and was again falsely marked out as a shop lifter. Security guard only attempted to give a reason after I started filming even though I asked for one before, so he made something up about me leaving from the wrong direction even though I've seen people exit from that direction prior to and since this video and i've never seen one other person get stopped for it since and even when the same Security guard that stopped me has been by the door he hasn't stopped other people for it besides one other man of colour which rings alarm bells to me but can't say for sure that that was the motivation behind but it's a bit strange
Sooooo much wrong with this statement. You can't be arrested for trespass in the UK. Its a civil offence, not criminal, therefore the police have no powers to enforce any arrest. Private areas, with public access, become a public place. The same laws that allow CCTV to be in operation, are the same laws that allow this gentleman to film in this area. I could go on, but I'm bored. Your very wrong, and I suggest reading up on the laws before quoting something which you clearly know very little about.
I was stoped at Morrisons buy one othe this clowns he said I was flagged up by two Staffs members as doing drugs in the toilets and a staff member said he was a manger he wasn't. I eventually got hold of the real manger and it was all a pack of lies, no staff members flagged me, the guy who said he's was the manager wasn't it was just that the security want to abuse their power the firm that Morrisons use are so unprofessional it untrue and I was accused of being a drug addict Infront of customers at the enterence just like this DONT SHOP AT MORRISONS
May I ask when you one say one these guys do you specifically mean one of the Security Guards in this video? Or just a Security guard in general. It has recently come to my attention that at least one of these 3 men still hold their licence and continue to work in another Morrisons in North London
*PRIVATE PREMISES* you'd be escorted to the sidewalk for disturbance mate, these guys are weak, they're Training is incomplete. Been playing too much Call Of Duty pal.
Do not show them your bag tell them to get the police they can go to hell they have no legal right to search your person but can detain you for the police to search you only thing they can do is ask you to leave not search you or tell you not to film it's a publicly accessible place
You cannot film in a supermarket without the stores permission, it's a private service that the public use., though these security lads should have badges displayed and just ignored these guy who looks just like he wanted an issue, Guards are way to highly strung
Appreciate the comments. I would like to make clear that I did not film this incident for the sake of causing an issue. Before filming the security approached me as I was leaving an accused me of stealing which they had done 4 times. I had complained by email about constantly being falsely accused to no avail thus I chose to film this time. Also there's no UK LAW that states filming in a supermarket isn't allowed
Of course you can. You do not need permission and they can not make you stop filming. They can though ask you to leave. What law are you refering to re "You can not film in a supermarket"?.
Could be considered alarm and harassment when they asked you to go and you continued to film him in a private place. It doesn't make sense for 3 guards to stand there arguing when you clearly had a agenda in place. Either get a manager or the police. It is out of your hands. Usually managers talk down to their security and tell them to let you shop anyway. How many of your mates ransacked the place when this happened?
I don't think anyone rational would view this scenario as the security guards being victims of harassment. To answer your question you're spot on, my Cat jumped out of the carrier undetected and took everything from the shelves, and the best part is... nobody suspects a thing
None of them wearing their SIA badges as required by law so all employed illegal employed as Security Operative which the company including Morrisons could face legal action against them which the directors could be fine and possible imprisonment. The company name is Total Security Services and they is a Morrisons security training video on RU-vid for Morrison ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NOCcHxwI9P0.html and is about 3 years old. Remember they can only request to search your bags and have totally no right to do so if you refuse and can not stop you leaving or assault you. Only a police officer is the only one that can search you. You have every right to film the employees and contractors for his own safety. This needed to be reported to the SIA as a crime offence and also the video footage
@@SajSajidmk You must have X-RAY eyes and can see it through their uniforms I think you are blind as they should be on their person in the see through sleeve on their vest and It MUST be ON display as a requirement of their licence and the Law under the Private Security Industrial Act 2001 Section 9 para 9(c) Licence conditions www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2001/12/section/9. Also both guards can be sacked and imprisonment of up to six months and also a fine Please read this Regulation before making a wrong comment also his can request and the footage of the body cam (SAR) as a Data Protection Act 1998 as their should of informed him that their are filming him as this a breach of GDPR which the company can receive a large fine for this. I am at the moment pursuing with a large supermarket which the guard was aggressive and not wearing his badge. Their two clowns should be following the guidelines and policies that I put in the link about Morrison Security Training otherwise instant dismissal if I was the manager.
I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to film in Morrisons as it's private property open for Public. However Security guards were not professional at all.
They claimed it's their policy that you can't but I found nothing on their website which suggest this nor did I see any signs in store that suggest this, also see many people film in this store and they never have a problem with it. Furthermore legally they can't enforce it because the law says I can film as I please, especially in a situation like this where lies can be told. I was only filming for my protection 1. To ensure the security guards wouldn't be overly physical with me and 2. So that they couldn't claim I did anything that I didn't. Also they had stopped me many times before without good reason so I'd kind of had enough at this point
This security may be working with Pakistani run agency. Who receive 8.50 hours in cash hands. Any kind of corruption in 🥵🥵🥵this country Pakistani number one.
