As I see it, high single core performance is needed for web applications like nodeJS. However, the cost of OVH VPS 90$ while it has the same performance as Hetzner's Ryzen PRO 8700GE servers for way less.
This server range (ADV-GEN-3) has a critical flaw-you can not use the additional IPs in the bridged mode but only in the routed mode, meaning you must host the dedicated virtual router for the additional IPs (VMs). Please upvote to make the buyers aware!
@@timothyhendricks3004 Because OVH forces you to self-host the virtual router, otherwise buying previous and older ADV-GEN-2 server range offers the bridged mode, which means - the virtual router is on the provider's side. Therefore, the configuration and management of the VMs are much more straightforward.
