Can confirm this hurts more than you’d think.I’m a falconer and when they mean it they REALLY mean it.those beaks are designed to pierce/tear flesh, And break small bones .what you got here was a warning and you were lucky as they usually don’t give you that courtesy lol 😂 I’ve had bites that puncture down to the bone and only stopped because of it on my fingers with no warning whatsoever and regularly get deep wounds on the job. Birds are assholes…but they’re awesome.
I have 2 little green cheek conures and the female bites deep. The male has never broken the skin but she goes for blood! They are known to be "nippy" birds and you learn to live with it, just watch closely for signs.
@@7angels844 not really.I air on the side of caution with certain larger birds ,but the injuries are part of the job.they happen however careful you are So it’s better to focus of efficiency and caring for the animal thouroughly.wounds can be dressed, they heal .personally I think it gives my hands arms and face (smaller nesting birds WILL go for your eyes ) character .
@@techshabby0001 yes I also find that the females have more of a “blood lust” .also a good point ,i do watch for signs where possible, sometimes my eyes need to be elsewhere when handling then though ,changing jesses ,trimming talons/beaks and helping them clean themselves where needed ha ha
we do have to vid up of the owl being set free. It did not really want to leave at first. Don't think I have any of it just being nice and enjoying a good scratch. The bird is long gone, so that is it for the vids.
I guess even though you nursed it back to health, it didn't like being poked like that. Did it like softer petting (i.e., with the palm of your hand, following the grain of its feathers) though?
Its time to get right with Jesus. nobody is automatically gonna go to heaven at the end of it, we all have lied or stolen or had sex before marriage and the punishment is hell. Jesus died so you can get a clean slate and forgiveness of future sins if you repent of them once you commit them, so you receive the gift of forgiveness by following him. When you start you have to stop sinning, and follow his word and obey it. That’s following Jesus. Read your Bible
