I don't know if you're being sarcastic or if you're being serious, but Tidal Wave? I'm almost sure that's a Christian song. "I was blind but now I can see, 'cause I found a new hope from above and courage swept over me."
Yeah--and Meteor Shower. "I am not my own for I have been made new". There are still a lot of good secular songs of his but you happened to mention mostly Christian songs by mistake :P
I'm mainly talking about the people who complain that it's Christian music. I truly believe that those of non-Christian faith can enjoy this piece of music. I just can't understand why people can't stop their complaining and just listen (or not) it's just a piece of music and if you don't like it, move along. There's no need for nonsense.
NyaAnimeMangaLuv Since you posted this on the instrumental, you made it seem as though you thought people who didn't like it being Christian shouldn't even be listening to this. If that's what you mean, I disagree. Otherwise, if youre just saying people who are listening to the full song shouldn't complain about the lyrics, I can agree with you.
Thanks, I always thought this was a tune, it was just ruined by his God bothering. Please, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against people who find strength in religion, its just that I don't want it pushed on me in the music I listen to. Its nice to listen to this track without the religious message.
I know this comment is ancient but.... Man, what a weird take. Adam Young is a Christian and he doesn't push it on anyone lol If you don't want to hear a Christian mention God, then don't listen to a Christian artist? Actually, a LOT of his songs are about God and biblical stories, but they are written so cryptically that you can only recognize it when you know scripture and the meaning of symbols or words that he mentions. Kamikaze for example, is about Adam and Eve and Jesus.
