This makes me cry. I remember doing a talent for show for school back then and performing this with my guitar and I won!!! I then went on to play fireflies the next year and won again!!! So nostalgic.

He's made songs for several films, but this one is by far the BEST! I know it's like a coincidence that his stage name is Owl City yet he made a soundtrack to a song for a movie about owls. Maybe this is what he's destined for all along. Maybe he didn't realize it yet, heh.

The movie has a great plot, however it did not meet cinematic expectations, aka it flattened out the plot. It has enough juice to span out for three movies, which I can probably rewrite the script the script for you, any day.

For a 2010 movie, the animation is beautiful, i think the animators gave their soul to it, imagine if there was a sequel with a better animation... also, Klud survived so, they deserve do a sequel.
Imagine if that movie was made today. I'm pretty sure it would win an academy award and that it would beat the likes of Pixar. Seriously, this is the closest thing we have to a realistic animation.

Mister Fox I wish I were more interested in the book series. I’ve read the first book in elementary. But I still watch the movie over and over. The animation is so freaking beautiful.
Jeez Louise! , well to tell the truth I really didn't read the book series but I want to! And I do not blame you for the movie being very butiful, and it was good to but sadly because of funding they couldn't create another one.
what hurt the movie was combining 3 books into 1 movie. there was a lot of stuff that got skipped and they changed a few things to make it work. Honestly I love this movie but the books are way more interesting and a lot more darker then you think a novel meant for around middle school aged kids. If you saw this movie I highly recommend giving these books a read even if your an adult.

1. This seriously needs funding for a sequel 2. I remember, after I watched the movie in theaters, finding the books in the library at school in a dusty corner. The teacher said that I could keep them, I wanted to read those books, but I got distracted by Warriors. 10 years later I’ll search for ‘em though. 3. It’s been 10 years. A whole decade and I still cant forget this. I’m glad it was added to Netflix because people might find it easier!
I'm far from being a kid but I saw this movie in a $5 DVD bin about 10 years ago and bought it. Many of these animated films although aimed at children do have much adult humor and I like them
Sadly, they will probably never make another Guardians of Ga'hoole movie. They said they didn't get too much money, but this movie had good music and the motion and graphics -Back then- were all good! Sure, it wasn't like the books, but it was still good. Anyone else agree on them making another Guardians of Ga'hoole?
Yes, but I still think they didn't do a very good job in explaining the books, because they didn't add a lot of the stuff, such as the fact that Egglantine was an adult when she was taken to the Ga'hoole Tree, and Lyze was trapped in the triangle of flecks (I forgot what it was called) alone, and not during a war. Also, Soren didn't know that Ezylryb was actually Lyze until sometime in one of either the second or third books. I think that if they make another Guardians of Ga'hoole, they should make sure they stick closer to the books.

I love owl city, why? because their songs can paint such beautiful scenery in my imagination, its a nice getaway from all the long list of songs like rap songs, angst songs, sad songs, songs that tells story you understand but can't honestly relate with since it hasn't happened to you. Unfortunately, the studios only listen to what people want to see. But unfortunately, the problem comes when what people want to see is garbage and not good or reasonable stuff. This is how we got boss baby and the emoji movie. I just wish that I was more interested in chapter books, one of them being Ga'hool during the releasing of this movie. This would of been a blast.
I can' t be the only one watching this video with a huge feeling of nostalgia XD This movie was my favorite childhood movie and it still holds a special place. Hearing this song and watching the video always takes me back to when I was a 10 years old little girl that was madly in love and impressed by this movie and I honestly still feel the same magic as I watch the movie now or listen to this song.
