When lawmakers focus on "owning the libs" or rather, punishing the so-called radical left, their policy quickly deteriorates. After ten full weeks, it's time they focus on helping, not hurting Arkansans.

If the LEARNS Act allows parents to redistribute tax money to private schools, will Union Christian Academy in Fort Smith still be able to expel any student who comes out as gay? Because they do currently.

Yes, they will still be able to dismiss or turn away students for any reason.

But being paid by the state and then discriminating against a protected group seems to conflict with what you said about the bakery owner example?

@@JMo268 Yes, it is in direct conflict. The legislature seems to be intentionally carving out discrimination exceptions for private entities that receive public funds (like private schools accepting vouchers) and private entities that receive public accreditation (like faith-based child welfare groups). It's strategic on the part of the supermajority. Essentially they want only specific groups to be able to discriminate.
