Think twice before choosing HDFC for your home. Worst institution to apply or expect loan. Untrained, unreliable staff, never understand customers. Your loan would be approved with your personal profile, then the actual story stars and ask you to provide property or other documents which may or may not be produced. Your loan amount would be approved to buy the property but won't be disbursed with xyz reasons and point to "Subject to terms and conditions or policies" which are not transparent, they are hidden.. Then what is the reason to get the loan approved.. so be careful. They can put customers home deals and commitments in real danger of losing. Not trustworthy at all. Even posting complaints on their portal wont help. They never take feedbacks for improvements and never accepts their mistakes. Personally be ready to run from HDFC office to other, don't trust and get in to problems.

Unfortunately, if you take a home loan from HDFC Finance Company, you have to pay special attention to whether the first installment cheque of your loan is deposited in the bank on time by the home loan branch. If the cheque is not deposited on time due to negligence by the branch, your SIBAL score will be adversely affected. This late payment will appear in your Sibal score record for life. This happened to me due to negligence of Home Loan Branch Moga (Punjab) They did not deposit my cheque in the bank on time due to which me and my wife's SIBAL score has been badly affected.
