Thank you for this lovely video! I feel so much better now knowing I’m not alone with some of the mistakes I have made as a new teardrop trailer owner. I have had to learn a lot of it all by myself and considering that I have never towed anything before, I’ve come along way in about six months time. But I still have so much to Learn and videos like this certainly help -thanks again.

Wow, this made me feel so much better! I recently severed my 7pin power cord because it got under the jack foot when I came out of a slightly too steep driveway. Chopped it right in two. Luckily I was near a repair place that could fix it. But I was pretty hard on myself. Now I know to look at how the cord is hanging and tie it up if needed.

Thank you for the video. My biggest mistake was forgetting to take off the safety chains in my driveway after my second weekend of camping with my new T@B 400. I had everything level, stabilizers down and thought I was good to go. Luckily I pulled away very slowly so no damage or bent stabilizers. My one recommendation to new owners, who have never towed anything, is to create a detailed check list.

Just did that something similar with our T@b 320. Got trailer in position and level. Got jack wheel in place and disconnected car from ball. Thought I would move the car like 6 inches or so. Was more like foot or foot and a half. Forgot to unhook the chains and 7 pin. Didn't damage anything but pulled too hard on emergency brake cable and pulled it out. No cell service. Had to drive a ways to get connectivity. NuCamp was closed. Dealer was closed. Fortunately found a youtube that showed how to reconnect.🤪

Oh man, I’m doomed! I am brand new. My only camping experience was in 1981 in a tent in the rain with 2 little kids. My Casita will be ready September 15. I doubt they make a camera big enough to capture all the mistakes I am sure to make. I feel like I’m in a dentist’s waiting room.

I have made so many mistakes, I can’t remember them all! I have accidentally left the 7 pin plugged in in my driveway and it drained my car battery. When stopping for lunch or something, I have unplugged it and forgotten to plug it back it in, and I had to have it replaced!
