You apply your extra-high standards to everything that rolls into your studio, whether it comes in under its own power or gets pushed in. Mitch, I'm sure that many others feel as I do... there are some details that cannot be done in a single video, and have to be extended for the viewer to appreciate. The new owners of the Jeep go from "where do I start?" to "let's get going!", especially since they don't have to deal with the tremendous mess that you faced when the doors were first opened! It makes the rest of the transformation seem possible, and they don't have to deal with the mess (or the smell!). And you are a real trooper digging into what most folks would walk away from... I've been with you for years now, and whether it's a standard video or a 2-parter-- I'll be watching and clicking the "like" button! Thanks!

Making this detail a 2 part video was totally worth it. Not only did it allow you to allow you to keep more of the content, but also allowed it to not cross the line and become tedious to watch. Even more, I feel as if it did deserve the double video treatment because it's a classic car, and deserves to have the extra focus. It allowed us to see build elements and features that are no longer used, such as the metal floor trim, non-retractable seatbelts, *gasps* backseat ashtrays!! Well done on this detail, and I hope to see an update in the future!! 🎉🎉 Also, I'll totally watch the new Yard Geek video; maybe you can do a mashup where you detail some yard equipment, like the Cat!

Fear not, Detail Geek. Splitting this particular job into two parts created a decent sense of anticipation. I was genuinely happy to see the second part drop, and I clicked on it as soon as I saw it pop up on my feed. You gave it your all, as usual, and this damaged, 42 years abandoned vehicle turned out beautifully. No way I would have missed part 2 of this after having watched part 1 .That said, as a subscriber from back when you were in your old location, I'm partial to the usual one part format. But this vehicle was an exception and it deserved every minute of both videos. Great job with this vintage find--I would love to see it fully restored if the owner decides to start his own channel!

You brought out every tool in your arsenal and gave it a serious dose of dignity back👍 I'm an auto mechanic and a car buff at 59 years old now. I saw part 1 of the set here and now part 2 is the icing on the "detail" cake! ❤️👍🎉😀⭐⭐⭐😄 Glad to know its a couple that will restore it to original standard instead of hot rodding it out and making a piece of worthless junk in 20 minutes flat,😵🥺 Doug

These 2 part videos are, in my opinion, great once in awhile, but waiting a week to see the end results made me a bit anxious! LOL. I like seeing each subject at the end of each video! But, this is just my opinion!!! Your video's are always some of the best, no matter how long or short they are!!

Hey Mitch - here’s a tip I found for cleaning carpets. Get a massage gun, one with the big, round ball on the end. Apply it to the carpet as you vacuum and it will help knock loose more dirt.

I enjoyed the 2 part style of this because it was such an immense job. Seeing such an old car and some of the pitfalls of cleaning it (like the brittle fabric ripping) is a great way to educate your audience. I’m a GenXer, so seeing the ashtray in the back seat was a blast from my past! 😂

I think the split video was the best decision, which does give an intermission period for some people that have time to spend to watch the full 60 minutes video. Also, from all the cleaning I have watched so far when I started to view a couple months ago, you @TheDetailGeek do amazing work. I am surprised the wood boards got trashed because they looked in good shape, unless there was rot that didn't even see.

I think a two part video is a good change up when necessary, though I do like it all in one episode. Either works for me, love the content regardless!

You should get a clear box for your shop and put all the weirdest things you found in vehicles inside- you could have started with the wasp nest or the catcti LOL

Oh wow to start this detail was amazing on such a classic car these barn finds are some of the best details plus the customers reaction like I think hands down this customer reaction and the car itself have to be up for the top award at the end of the year but as always keep up all the hard work your doing

I personally loved this 2 parter - more detailed cleaning. I would also love to see this jeep when fully restored.

This reminded me of when my husband and I worked on a 1961 convertible Rambler. It was in somewhat better condition. However we totally took it from the top to the bottom. My husband and i did the mechanic part and got it running. He took it from a blue color and painted it red. We had the seats recovered and the rugs replaced. The convertible top was redone, we went from a white to a black. There were some pieces that needed to be rechromed. It lookd spectacular. I bet they totally refurbish the entire call. It would look beautiful. You worked so hard on it. Almost every obstacle that could happen....happened.
