Ive got an a green rally, i specced it like the explorer as there wasnt one available when i bought it 9 months ago. Its been a great bike as an all rounder. I havent been bothered by the side panel and pegs at all, maybe because i have barges for feet😂. I wouldnt want to do hours on a motorway although it will do it but for everything else its been great, really enjoyable and takes me to what i feel a motorcycle should feel like (of course everyone wants something different and personal to them). Its not got any overriding electrics, simple engine, handles most terrains with ease and just feels like a doddle to ride, relax and reset. I would recommend it to anyone who just wants a punchy, simple, everyday motorcycle.
My first adventure bike but I do feel I picked a good one, I’m surprised you didn’t struggle standing but like I said in the video everyone’s riding position and style is different. Agreed it a great bike and I love it
Its easy, take off right panel, remove rubber spacer, lace a tie wrap between panel and exhaust bracket, tighten and pull panel in. A bit fiddly but worth it
@@sancoblanco you have to call he had them especially made, sorry I can’t remember the exact price I brought a lot of other bits that day ready for the travelling trip.
+ I was never interested in motorcycles, I wanted a Vespa 300gts and had no choice but to pass full motorcycle test, ended up with Fantic and Vespa as they are both so cool!

Very cool bike. I had exactly the same model and colour but fell off at VERY slow speed through a shallow ford, the surface was slippy like ice. Made me lose confidence and I worried whenever I saw a shiny grid, particularly with the bike having proper knobly tyres. I sold it with very little mileage on it and got a Honda adv350, it's a scooter, not as cool but very practical and easy to ride.
I’ve only ever dropped it slow speed or stationary but with doing the dirt biking /greenlaning with my XEF I can shake it off a bit better as constantly falling off doesn’t really damage them, it’s normal ish and the more times you do it the less embarrassing maybe . I still panic with tight ruts as that was my first fall think they always stay with us. Hope you get your confidence back 💜
