i like the fact its unique and looks like a sleeper, you would never expect a super charger in a focus lol

I like that the look has been kept fairly subtle. If it wasn't for the wheels it could almost be mistaken for a regular 1.6 from a distance. Nobody expects anything from a regular looking focus, I bet it raises a few eyebrows!

I own a mk1 too, but i only upgraded it in look, not by engine and its hard for me to say i admire your engine of yours. Wish it was more reachable in Turkey that kind of things. But i guess i will be content with what i have :/

Mark ‘1’ Focus 2 door hatch, definitely the best looking of the breed. + love those RS front seats, a fine idea.

I love the blend of RS, SVT, and ST170 parts. That's awesome. There's quite a few of the Powerwerks supercharged Zetecs here stateside. They used to sell the kit through Ford Racing, and my friend has an SVT/ST170 with one on it. He did a pull against a Fiesta ST, and they were dead even. Wish I had my camera charged up for it. They're tons of fun when modified, and are little sleepers when you start doing stuff to them.

This car is almost like mine, except I have a Jackson supercharger with the BBK, svt suspension kit all around, much more airflow, stage 2 clutch, lightweight flywheel, longer gears, svt headers.... my god. Focus life bro

Such a clean car, I'm not even into fords but that is tasty and tasteful. Modified cars such a hard thing to get right without looking like you covered the car in glue and then crashed into halfords, but this is perfect.

Thinking about doing the same. Taking a look for a first car and fords have being a family thing since the model T.. Already found a nice RS kit, recaro seats, lights and RS rims so I just need to find a nice focus. Definitely a 2,0 blacktop

I recently picked up a cheap mk1 Focus with the Zetec. It's got quite a bit more punch than I was expecting for a half-assed Civic ripoff. Engine appears to be in good health despite the age, good compression on all cylinders. I'd toyed with the idea of a turbo kit, but a supercharger sounds fun too. Fun little car. I'm imagining building it into a rally car for our local mountain pass.

That car was my dads. He built it all up with custom bumpers and airbag suspension and Lamborghini doors with the supercharger but that dan you said about got an extremely good deal

It's the instant torque you get with the Superchargher at low revs. The Focus RS turbo makes 220 Hp but the SC makes massive torque.

I have a 1.6 trying to find a st170 to drop in it and keep it as a track car hopefully coz it's only got 51,518 miles on it for a 2004 plate

Warning . MTX 75 TRANSMISSION .Will fold after 220 horse . in younger days i Built a 2.3 Rs mk5b Turbo . The Cars Become hard to control after 250 Brake . they like to do random things when positive Chew Gearboxes even the diesel ones so if you do this then re build the internals to EN 36 grade components LSD Is a must . i ran 300 wheels and the thing is all over the place when u dump it hard would even spin 4 up no problems Very fast Good for 170 + but only had anchors good for 150 . Wild car scary fast kill cosworth's evo's subrus used to munch them when it got going stay safe 250 after becomes dangerous in this motor to the unskilled driver . Stay safe everyone .

I'm wondering if this is possible to do with a 08 focus , I see a lot of FSWorks turbo's on them but I'd like to do this with my 2008 Ford focus with the Duratec 2.0 , super awesome mk1 I have always loved them.

Why do people tune Zetec engines? ST170 engine has larger ports and already tough pistons etc. Something I dont know?

Is the 2.0L N/A thats in like the mk3 focus the same as the ztec motors i was never sure if or what all they changed between the 2 ?

a bit off question but how can you make the gearbox good ? mine is shit all the time. piece of shit positioning spring breaks every 3-4-5 months and apart from that I feel every time it does not want to engage next gear.
