You're so sensible emily, dogs shouldn't be left alone all day when people work, they get depressed, we got our 1st dog who was 8 last week, it goes so quickly, cherish every minute 😉
Hi Emily! Your videos bring me so much joy. On the days I'm sad or just need a good pick me up I watch one of your videos. I love hearing all your advice and getting to know you through your videos. I also had a favorite blanket that I called KiKi when I was younger. Lol I think you had great advice!
Awe that is cute Joanne. My daughter had a favorite blanket. I'm like you Emily's video's make my day better when I'm not feeling happy. Just hearing her voice makes me feel happy. Take care.
Aww, my boyfriend and I are waiting to get our Corgi and honestly we’ve had more dog fever than having baby fever because we just love dogs so much and how much joy they bring to everyone around them 🥹
We have a new Shih Tzu puppy and he is also a fussy eater. It’s like being a new Mum again, worrying that they are getting enough calories and nutrition to grow properly. We’ve crate trained all our dogs and it really does help them feel safe and secure. Max love his and sleeps so well in his. I work from home as well and we are just so bonded. I absolutely adore him and he’s worth absolutely everything!
With the crate, you really want to keep it. It becomes like her den and her safe place and the place she knows she can relax. While some think crate training is bad, it is very comforting for the dog especially if you have a working breed.
Another fantastic video! As a mum of my fur baby (who was with me for 10 years ❤️🐾) all you advice was spot on! And the way you share it, so eloquently and kindly… if everyone on this planet had an ounce of your loveliness, the world would be a better place ❤️
She’s a gorgeous girl! I love my dog so much (a Border Terrier, like the puppy one you featured in the video) he has been like my rock, during hard times, so I get exactly what you are talking about. 🥰
Kiki is doing so well!! She’s clearly well adjusted to her human family, and look how much you all love and cherish her too. You brought up excellent points to remember and consider. For me when I adopted my rescues they all helped me be more physically active (I’ve lost three stone) and they help on the days when you’re sad, upset, depressed, etc. It’s just in them to love you in return.
Great video Emily, so nice to see a RU-vidr promoting modern, ethical training methods. Lovely to see Kiki growing up into a beautiful, happy little dog.
Veterinary Nurse & Cavapoo owner here: this video is amazing, lots of useful tips and hints and a great resource for anyone considering getting a puppy! My Cavapoo is also very fussy with his food, and gets very muddy on walks easily! We have PitPat for our dog which is basically a fitbit for dogs, and it helps us keep track of his exercise to make sure he's getting enough.
Hi Emily! Very nice video and very informative, for the food you are giving to your puppy I would recommend to make home fresh food, do a little research about process food and you will be surprised.
@@mrsemilynorris I really did and Kiki is such a cuteie. Would love a video on more air fryer recipes and also travel stuff. You are the best and the first RU-vidr I started following. 🧡 Xxx from Oslo
Hi Emily brilliant video as always I loved all your tips kiki is growing up into a beautiful girl, and your right you are now a dog mum haha, keep up the amazing content more videos of kiki please xxx
Shih-tzus also have hair not fur, they’re also hypoallergenic and being little, they are content with short walks. They are lap dogs and are very loving x
We have an 18 week old puppy atm so this upload came at the right time for me! We’ve had a dog before but I didn’t know about the bell trick on the door which is a really good idea !! Thank so much Emily ❤️
This is an amazing video Emily, we have a pugalier (pug cross King Charles cavalier) and this is a great resource for people who are looking for a fur baby💕
More videos like this please! We're looking at getting a dog in autumn once my children all at school and at the moment I'm trying to research as much as I can! Finding your kiki videos really useful!
Kiki is so adorable. Our 2 older dogs are 10 and 11 years old and still love their crate. We got bumpers made for round the edge of it so it gives them something soft to cuddle up against. I can send you the details of them if you want x
Awww Emily you’re ending was so sweet. 💖 You both are each other’s blessing. I have three boys as well 9, 2, and 1 year old! And I don’t feel ready for a pup but I know we want one some day!Great video!!
Aww loved this video Emily! We have a 16 year old doggy now but she has always been an extremely fussy eater from a puppy. Sounds ridiculous but she would never eat out of one of the silver dog bowls and turned her nose up every time. She will only eat off a small plate or plastic saucer. Just something I noticed in your video so you may want to try changing the bowl 😄 I was so shocked at how fussy little dogs can be! 😂
So helpful 🐶 I’m a cat mom b/c they just coexist and my husband and I work away from home, we are also constantly at baseball tournaments with our son on the weekends but, getting a dog is one of the main things I’m looking forward to when I retire one day and have no kids at home!
I have a 7 month old rescue puppy. She is about 35 pounds and we think she is part greyhound and part hound. She is mostly white with dark spots and she is absolutely adorable but very shy. I have had dogs most of my life but this is the pickiest eater I've ever had and it's driving me bananas because she's very skinny and you can see her ribs. The thing that has worked for me is putting a little bit of milk in her dog food. She loves milk. Then if I sit with her when she eats she will eat it all up other than that she will starve herself for days. Good luck.
Great advice. I hope you keep Kiki for many years and she stays healthy. Our dogs usually lived 13 to 20 years depending on the dog breed. Our horses lived the longest usually some into their 30's. One of our cats right now is 13. Kiki is adorable. All animals are not cheap. Horses costing the most. Take care.
I have a 40kg german shepherd, I got him at 10 weeks and we didn't struggle too much with toilet training but everytime he had an accident inside it was my fault.
We got our puppy 3 weeks ago and boy does it take work and patience! My dog died 2 years ago and she was 16 so it’s been a while since we had a puppy and I forgot how much work it was lol
Loved this video thank you. I’ve been thinking about getting a cavapoo pup for 6 months but it’s a big decision isn’t it, so this has been really helpful. How much would you say the cost is per month? I was thinking of budgeting for £100pm to cover food, insurance etc would you think this would cover it - excluding dog walker / day care. X
Hi Emily we have 2 dogs What's a Jack Russell and the other one is is a patterdale the Patterdale she is a Yapa but the jack russell she is 16 and very loving. We have 2 cats .I cannot make my Mind who Is the boss me or the animals
