My old german shepard used to do this all the time when she was done with her bowl!! She would pick it up and run around with it... Never knew why but i hope shes having fun with her bowls on the other side of the rainbow bridge

My mom had a dog. With weird breeds in it. He always STIRRED his water with one leg. He really loved that.

Mine does this with his food bowl. He eats about half of his food so that when he picks up the bowl it won’t spill. And then he carries the bowl onto my bed, and finishes his dinner lying down.

Oh my goodness! My Benny did this when he was a wee pup! He never did grow out of it; but, that's OK. He also loved playing in the water hose which made gardening extra fun 🤗

My mother has a Malamute pup, that I call my fluffy baby brother. He’s spoiled because when he does this it has to be a certain temperature, my mother also spent thousands on things for him and vet bills. I’m not complaining though, he’s super cute and very clumsy. He’s funny to watch as explore things, he’s not used to.

Take the sticker all the way off and he’ll stop pawing at it wondering what it is.

After owning many GSD's, I can confirm that this is 100% TRUE! They are such kooky puppies and test their owner's patience daily. It's as if being able to tolerate their nuttiness when they are puppies is rewarded when they are adults. They are awesome dogs; incredibly loyal and sweet. Only breed I will ever have.

Classic. I had to put 10 pounds of dive 1880 weights in mine to keep my GSD from running off of them. German shepherds are crazy.❤

I got a large porcelin bowl to stop my Helga from doing that sort of thing. Instead I would find toys floting in the bowl or Helga standing up to her elbows in the bowl.

Mine did the same thing. No matter how big or small the bowl was he was emptying it or dumping it and running away with the bowl. I had to get a big automatic water feeder so he would leave it alone.

adoreable! my boy did the same exact thing when he was little, he has destroyed 2 plastic bowls, he now has a metal feeding bowl and a water container that he cannot tip over or carry around

OMGEEEE So when we got ours, we took her to visit my mom same day, and she did this a few times when we were all hanging out. Fast forward 6 years and she no longer spills the water, but when a bowl is empty she picks it up and brings it to me to get what we call “freshies.”

When my Akita shepherd was a puppy she would scratch the inside of her bowl when she’d finished all the water from her bowl, pick it up, seeing there wasn’t an endless supply of water coming up from under her bowl shed start scratching the base to encourage more water to appear, as if by magic. They are just the cutest, watching them figuring out life on a daily basis-if things keep progressing at such a pace, she’ll be bringing my water bowl to me! JLR

Bruh, get the sticker out of there at least. Might be part of why they're dumping it over, trying to get it out. Some baking soda mixed with oil and dish soap to make a paste will do it in a safe way. Then you can just wash it normally to get the oil and baking soda out.

Okay so weird question is there some reason you actually left part of the sticker inside of your dog's water bowl? There are two relatively easy ways to get that stuff off of the dog bowl itself. One-way is using a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive that is on the sticker. And the other way is just simply warm water and a little bit of elbow grease and scrubbing. There's also a spray that you can spray in the bowl I think it's junk be gone or something like that. And it'll take off actual adhesive and remove it and then you can have a clean bowl for your dog and there wouldn't be any sticker residue inside the bowl either

Maybe he's just trying to get the rest of the price tag off the bottom of his bowl. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Well of course!! That’s why they have us to fetch them as many bowls of fresh clean water they need. Toys and bowls are very similar when you are so darn fluffy and cute💕🐾

They have bowls that are designed to help prevent them from doing that. My dog never spilled her water though. She does drop food out of her mouth while running over to make sure that no one has murdered us while she was taking a bite.
