May 2024 & I’m watching this movie..! For some reason, I have come to develop an unusual hunger for classic old Naija movies and I am not disappointed in any way. Too many morals and lessons. The plot twist of the investigation..the suspense planted in the hearts of viewers. Such a gem of a movie! Kudos to the entire production team.
@@TheCreativeAsiwaju Quite a number readily come to mind; **ALÉ ARIWO (by Wemimo Films) **SAWORO IDE (by MainFrame Pictures) **TI OLÚWA NILÈ (A “Baba Wande” classic) **THUNDERBOLT (MainFrame Pictures) **KOSEEGBE (by MainFrame Pictures) **ÌRÙ ESIN (Not sure who made this) **OLOLADE MR. MONEY (by “Olaiya Igwe”) **OWO BLOW (by Taino Hassan “Ogogo”) **AGOGO EEWO (by MainFrame Pictures) **TI N BA T’AYEWA (by Wemimo Films) **DUGBE DUGBE NBO (not sure who made this too) **Last but not in any way the least, O LE KU (also by MainFrame Pictures) My mind is now blank but I hope the few I listed helps. Happy viewing.
Signing-in on 19th April, 2020..... amidst convid19 worldwide lockdown. Finally I get to watch this movie 15 yrs after my boyfriend ( now hubby) narrated it to me from scene 1-end. This is a person who can hardly describe anything. I knew it'd be a really great watching myself. Never read the book also. Epic and Evergreen
Classic.....if u was born in the era of Yoruba literature in secondary school WAEC and GCE in those days you will appreciate this movie. This brings back good memories. Thanks to my old friend Ismaila Mudasiru {Baba Loopo} EGS Ibadan for introducing me to and reading to my earring classic Yoruba novels.
I can't stop watching this play "owo eje" and other mainframe plays. I respect all the participants. They were really up to the task. No wonder that all of them are stars in their chosen careers. One of the investigators is now the Dean of faculty of arts at Obafemi Awolowo university, Ile Ife . The writer really did a wonderful job.The play exposes the so called rich men in our society with ill-gotten wealth via illegality. The cabals, leaders in position of authority, kidnappers, arm robbers, Yahoo boys, etc... Whatever Money they make is blood money.
This is one of the best screen adapted yoruba movies of all time. The characters were superb. I'm glad I watched the movie at its time of release. Yet, I can't get weary of watching it.
Though an old movie but it is one thousand times far more better, reasonable, educative than all these kangaroo Yoruba movies being produced these days.Somebody just get some change to spend and overnight he or she automatically becomes a producer even without understanding the rudiments of making a movie.
Alhamdulilah Glory be to God Almighty Allah I appreciate the privilege you gave me to be among the living, I'm alive today, watching this movie again in 2019, I can watch it with my data on RU-vid, lol no more sneaking...
Wow... the content and story line are so rich and very unpredictable unlike the shallow movies they release nowadays. God bless everyone who brought this to us.
One of the best Yoruba movie so far! All the actors n actresses are perfectly glued to their roles! The sound track is another perfect combination for the movie! I can’t get tired of seeing this movie. Especially the part of Sule and Adebisi! Thanks for the upload!
This is the best movie have ever watched in the history of me watching movies. every single of these actors/actresses is so talented, they sticked to the script and the story. May almighty God bless all those participated in this movie and reward their generation with goodness.
One of the best Yoruba movie! I was unable to watch the movie in 1985 when filmed in my sec sch due to lack of fund but went ahead to read few weeks later but thank God i was able seeing it after 32 years(2017). The movie is really rich in everything.
Thank you for uploading this movie again, i read the book i bought the CD now watching it on you tube.GOD BLESS ALL THE CAST.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏very educative
I wish Yoruba movie actors nd actress can learn from this movie owo eje,it’s an old movie nd it still rock and also have a good story line with so much lessons to learn unlike the Yoruba movies now that every actors wana get popular which made them mis behave nd focus on non important things , great 👍🏿 movie rock even if it’s made 20yrs back ❤️❤️always 💯✊🏻
I seriously enjoyed this movie, watched it few times and it's still ever green. You will definitely appreciate all these actors and actresses if you have read the book "OWO EJE" I'M PROUD TO BE A YORUBAN
Uhmmmm, and I smiled after watching. Full of wisdom and many lesson to learn. How can I stop watching our old yorubas movies. Very interesting and unique ❤️🇰🇼
I have never seen this movie before but I watched it because my dad was watching I.T. I am not disappointed because the storyline was lit because of the suspense and the way I.T went. Sule died because of greediness and ije wuru. I knew baba wande killed him because the roles given to baba wande is not always good. The role given to Ayo badmus was a good one because as a detective, u don’t jump to conclusions. He looked for all the clues to the incident and found the offender. So because baba wale was to inherit Sule’s cocoa farm is the reason he killed him. Atenuje o da ooo. Olohun maje ki atenuje pawa. Chief Bamidele na, kini e n wa ni ogojo oru. This will teach the greedy people that I.T is not everything you see you eat if they don’t want to end up like Sule ebira. I like that I.T touches on law issues. My dad is a lawyer so he enjoyed the movie and he said I.T touched on legal issues. But great movie and the book must be interesting for the movie to be excellent and educative
Thanks for uploading this well taughtful movie. Please, we are requesting for your assistance to bring all this veterans back to stage by partnering with DStv for weekly drama shows. So, that we can continue to learn from them. Pls Pls . We miss them so much.
I can't stop watching this movie i have watched the film more than 20 times and bought different cds twice. Evergreen plz take ur time to watch the movie very very interesting
Just watching it now (29/09/2022) for the second time since first time I watched it when it came out. Educative and genuine actors and actresses, not those ones we have now (money grabbers) meaningless storylines
