I love love how raw you are in every video, making it relatable. The toast, the redoing the bedding etc. It makes it so much more fun to watch! Recently found you, and you are such a gem! keep it up, i love it. Greetings from the Netherlands
You are adorable. This video was totally relatable and even if it's not as "supposedly perfect" as other videos may be, I realize -as a med student too- that what you're doing (aka exercising every day in the morning in your room etc.) is already pretty difficult. I honestly can't do that. So yeah, in that sense your video was actually inspiring. Thank you and good luck!
Haha yes I'm lazy and always choose the most convenient options when I'm living alone. But in September I'll be moving out with my friends and living in a house with a real kitchen so hopefully we'll have better vlogs in the future! 😂
I’m glad you posted this…I attended Oxford and it was really nice to see the reality. Was comforting that it wasn’t just me - the day to day is totally in your brain, laptop or books. And scraping together food because you don’t have a private kitchen. 👌🤣😘☺️
I really enjoy your Oxford university morning routine as it can be productive, especially the morning exercise and your bedroom design, for me to study. Thanks for sharing! I am a Chinese A Level student applying for UK universities soon and I am watching this to learn more about the life of university students in advance. I also fold the quilt after getting up as a study habit.
We others students feel confortable watching a realistic day without romantizing the studies routine. Congratulations, your video made me confortable and itˋs amazing. A big hub from Brazil.
Love the mood in your videos! They seem so honest. Once you’re able to, would like to see some routine videos featuring beautiful Cambridge. Stay strong and focused, you’re amazing! ❤️ and btw, your handwriting is exceptionally neat and inspiring!
THANK YOU FOR NOT MAKING IT TOO AESTHETIC AND KEEPING IT REAL. The fake AESTHETIC stuffs makes me annoyed cz I'm supposed to motivated by seeing another student's daily stuffs not the fake ones From your vlogs I got to learn a lot
Hi! Clicked into your video as it was recommended on my homepage. I like how realistic and un-aesthetic it is! Also simple food that is true reflection of a busy college student's meals. All the best in Oxford! PS: your handwriting is super neat!
Your videos are really interesting. I love them. I just don't understand the unpractical desk. It must be really hard to sit at, which is strange. I would suppose that such a good uni as Oxford provides better desks for their students. But otherwise, your room looks cozy. I also like how you cook on that window sill. As you have said, it shows real life. Good luck with your studies. I wish you the best.
Thank you! They only look neat from afar 😂 The important thing is not how nice your notes are but how much you understand and remember. I only take notes when I'm learning information for the first time, but prefer to use more active forms of learning like testing myself when revising.
i love your vids sis im a 8th grader bangladeshi student i also want to join at oxford as medical student im trying my best to study hard thats my dream to be a oxford student i love you so much hehe
Loved the video. I was planning to apply for 22-23. Wanted to know if all classes are held online and will continue to be online for the next year as well? Did you get to attend some lectures at the campus?
Thanks! :) For us in the 2020/2021 academic year, most lectures were online (the second term was entirely online, including labs and tutorials). A few labs, tutorials and lectures were in person in the first and last terms, but much much less than in a normal year. I think (or hope) it should be much more back to normal by the time you enter university.
Next September i am going to medical science at hull college and hopefully i will try harder be ready going to oxford medical school😊❤, i think we have a meeting from Oxford uni😅.
Wow, you are a badminton player. I always want to know that if there are any badminton clubs in Oxford. Can you please tell are there badminton clubs in Oxford ??
Unfortunately, I'm not on a scholarship as most scholarships are not offered for Medicine. Your eligibility depends on which course you're applying for and which country you're from. If you wish to find out more about scholarships, there are some useful links here: www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate/fees-and-funding/oxford-support uscollegeinternational.com/2021/03/10/oxford-university-scholarships/ However, I don't have much personal advice as I haven't experienced the application process myself, though I'll try to find out more from my friends and let you know again!
I took 4 H2 subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Maths, China Studies in Chinese, as well as GP and PW (compulsory H1 subjects) and H3 Biology. I got all As and Distinction for H3. This is quite specific to Singapore A Levels which are slightly different from UK/other countries.
