My attempt to clean three extremly oxidized and dirty 7/16 DIN female connectors. There are silver coating defects that expose copper. Some dirt wasnt removed. It is just fine for high power short wave application? I'm afraid of intermodulation effects using high power during contests on 20/15/10m. What do you think?
I used rust remover (dilute phosphoric acid) for short time, contact cleaner spray and alcohol.
