Oxob Origins 

Thank you all for the positive feedback! Considering it's my first time trying to tell a story rather than just making a mindless stick-fight, I'm glad it's being so well recieved. The critics aswell has been very legit and helpfull and will be taken into consideration for my upcoming projects. I've also noticed alot of questions on the story, wich is another thing I'll try to avoid in my next animation by making things more clear. So I thought I'd answer some of them for you. "What were they doing in the helicopter?" Oxob was a famous stuntman before the accident. He was gonna do a parashute stunt. "Why did he attack the scientists?" The deal was to be given prostetic hands, not to be turned into a super weapon. Oxob woke up before the procedure was completed and he attacked out of shock and confusion of what they had done to him. The accident itself was a setup to get someone to work their experiments on. "How did he sign the contract without hands?" He used his mouth. There are more questions, but the rest is up for speculation. Thanks for reading, and thanks for watching! :)

I love the little details in 2:43. If you look his test subject name is OX013, it can be assumed that this was how he got his name Oxob. Also his legs are red, meaning that when he awakened he halted the project before it can take any effect on his leg bones. If he still unconscious as planned he wouldn’t have gone through his leg injuries since his bones would’ve been enhanced to become incredibly durable.

When that final scene of Oxob entered his little home, I had a rush of nostalgia and chill up my back. The past is so long ago and seeing it again makes me feel like crying. Wonderful story Oxob.

yeees we need more origin story of the old gen stickman, the one from rock hard gladiator era. we also need the background on the old gen clan style, nemesis, zetabrand, and probably more we need the story on how this clan is created in the first place, that would be awesome, i think.

It's awesome that we get to know the origins of Oxob after all this time! I also loved that little detail at 2:44 when it says 0 X 0 13 which is where Oxob got his name. Amazing work! I can't wait for the Gilded guy battle

It's really cool how Gildedguy redrew Oxob's flashbacks in his own style. Also something tells me Oxob would have loved watching Gildedguy vs Jade (especially GG smashing up the Nemesis Exhibition).

Oh my GOD this was so cool. I LOVED the part where he hits the ground then takes her staff and fucking bends it until it BREAKS. The sound design in those scenes *really* sell the emotion or seriousness of the scene. This is a splendid animation Oxob, I'm always pleased to see more of your animations! Loved the story as well. This gets a solid 10/10 from me!

Nice, even if its cliche and full of plot holes im already hypes

I'm gonna try and analyze this in a way that allows me and others who happen upon this comment to understand the story in (possibly) a linear way. It looks like the origin story depicts Oxob as the stuntman he is known to be, trying to sky dive off a helicopter into a city possibly as a cinematic stunt. However, things go south as (what looks to be) an secret group of scientists, engineers and soldiers detonate an explosive on the helicopter causing it to crash. The dark blue guy (maybe a friend or family member of Oxob) tries to save him from getting killed but ends up getting Oxob's hands stuck between the door of the chopper. The helicopter explodes and Oxob lives to see his career die and his hands obliterated. That is until the same secret group hands to Oxob a contract that could potentially give him a second chance. They give him the superhuman enhancements and metallic fists as well as what looks to be a bunch of Nano-machines, Son! the Little metal bugs pump electricity through his body, into his bones, and that power is concentrated into his fists. Of course, the whole operation on him was a success; turning him into a super soldier. And things go south (again) and Oxob goes rogue; looking for fights every chance he gets. His fights have been everything for him, that's how he got by his whole life. As a stuntman, he lives for action and pushing the limits. Yet, despite being overwhelmingly happy early on, he is brought to a depressing halt in one, unforeseen moment. Okay, this is is where his story gets a little messy. Here's how I depict it: Oxob's legs are crushed underneath a rock in his fight with Xenrath at the expense of saving his life. He is trying to recover from the damage when one day, he comes across Jade: a seasoned veteran in combat from the clan known as "Nemesis". He not only loses the fight due to his injuries, but also the one thing he had fought with his whole life: his hands. He's heartbroken from this. His fighting days are over. He has nothing left...Then, a glimmer of hope arises...Oxob is informed by Jade of a mission that will give him not only his hands back, but his legs too. He keeps an open mind but doesn't seem to accept the offer just yet. Subsequently, Oxob wanders the streets till a person gets ambushed by Xia: another stick fighter. Although his legs get even more screwed up from the fight, Oxob saves this man with his newly repaired hands. He's helped up by the unknown man and given a couple bucks as a thank you for his rescue. The crippled brawler heads to his desolate home (perhaps as a means to reflect on his life). He remembers the good old days of fighting when he was in his prime and had something to fight for; his emotions are made even more clear as he sheds a few tears in memorial of himself and the times he fought. Looking to his left, he discovers the package he's been anxiously waiting for: A New Hope. He lets out a subtle smile, puts on the prosthetic legs gifted to him by Nemesis, and marches onward to begin his new mission. This next fight will be against the Golden Knight: Gildedguy. Whether he fails or not is unknown to all including him. But now, Oxob finally has a reason to fight. A reason to push forward. A third chance. This is as far as I'm gonna go. If anyone has more thoughts on the matter or another perspective, leave a comment :) In the meantime, I can't wait for what's next Oxob3000. You are one of my favorite obscure animators out there. I can't wait to see what you do next and for that intense looking battle against you're next opponent. Do what you're character's doing: Pushing forward even in the darkest of times. People like you are why I still watch RU-vid. Animation is a genre I hold dear because you can tell a story without having a word be spoken . many people don't notice this but the reason why oxobs legs got broken is because the nano bots did not spread to his legs

Watching old videos of RHG fights give me nostalgia, but this made my day

Sometimes, when life gets a bit overwhelming, i come back and watch all the early stick fight videos. I reminds me of a time when life was simple and good.

Ну блэээээн. Мне очень нравятся видео Оксоба. Поэтому, когда наступает их конец, то приходится терпеливо ждать нового. Говоря о сюжете. Движется он очень круто, переплетаясь с историей других стикменов. А когда я увидел, что Оксоб появился в видео Gildedgue я просто в шоке был. Если говорить за анимацию, то тут всё действительно качественно. Если в других видео с файтингами стикменов появляется Оксоб, то его стиль рисования и плавность движений оооочень выделяются. Можно ещё добавить то, как мне импонирует сюжет, персонажи и рисовка автора, но зачем, если это сможет прочесть только Егор?😂 P.s.: автору канала удачи и аплодисменты 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. When he stepped in, he looked so badass. Also it’s me le_spof from twitch in that gildedguy stream. This made me learn a lesson, that you can stand up for what’s right. I just saw this in my recommendations a few months later but who cares. Keep it up! 👍
