Thank you! Not the easiest question to answer ... There’s a dozen Oysterband studio albums listed in our shop www.oysterband.co.uk/shipchoice.asp, from Step Outside (1986) to Diamonds on the Water (2014). There are two “best of” double albums - Granite Years (1997) and This House Will Stand (2016); two albums with the great June Tabor; and a range of live recordings, solo albums by band members and more. Spirit of Dust is on Diamonds on the Water, so maybe that’s the place to start? If you want to go on from there, maybe Granite Years to cover the earlier material in one album, and then you can work through other more recent albums as you like; and try one of the June Tabor collaborations to see if you like something rather different?
@@oysterbandvaults Thank you for the info. I have Diamonds on the Water now, so I know I love the later sound. Most bands progress, so maybe the earlier stuff is different. I think maybe I'll take your advice and go for Granite years next.
