There a little sharp but they suck, ergonomic handle feels a little weird so I used to sand them down bit i just ended up making newer knives

A good tool is a good tool. But in most cases I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for the most part. This machete is awesome for price. But it doesn't compare to my Ontario one and for thirty buck's. An my Ontario doesn't compare to my hundred an eighty dollar Esee Junglas. To each there own for sure. I love them all because to me they play a purpose an ya can't have to many tools. 👊💀

Nah in my opinion it is sharp enough to swing through whatever brush that's in the way. I buy these for beaters and don't care about the edge. Trust me it is worth the pennies. My time to sharpening this thing is just not cost effective lol. Swing it and it will slice any greenery that's in your way.

I'd have to say it is actually pretty dam good at chopping wood I had a 40 dollar machete I took out camping up in cloud Croft new Mexico it broke after the first day of heavy use so I drove into town bought this one it ate every task that I threw at it and kept me my family and our friends all warm chopped wood like a pro and even better than the shitty axe my friend had lmao

@@REAPERMILITIAOUTDOORS Well, I did go out and get one and I was somewhat surprised. I spotted it because of the handle looked sturdier than the other cheap plastic versions, it actually has rivets. Then of course, I saw ur video. I cut almost 5 inch limb of China berry tree(softwood) slowly without any crazy swings. It came out unscathed. Hit some tall woody grass...no problem. I did put my own profille, because the edge it comes with is not too good. Probably the best cheap machete I've purchased to date...lol.

Have no clue but for clearing brush this thing will do the job for 4 bucks.

Took me a good while even with a DMT 220 grit to get a decent bevel. Came dull as a butter knife from the factory and refused to get really sharp (and I'm very good at freehand sharpening, been doing it for 30 years and I can bring s110v to whittle hair off 325 grit)

The Ace Yes it definitely is quite a bit of work if it comes as sharp as a butter knife. Are you talking about this Walmart Machete or the Seymour I mentioned?
