Thanks for actually giving a step by step description of how to set up a tent. So many people post vids that are a sped up version with some stupid background music of themselves setting up a tent that is a worthless summary. You actually gave a detailed video that will help me erect my new tent up and verbally explained the process used to do it. You deserve a like and subscribe. Thanks
I just bought this tent for emergency shelter if a big earthquake happens here in California. Was 98,-- $ at Walmart. Motto: Better safe than sorry. If my house becomes uninhabitable due to earthquake damages, I'll be living in this tent for a while. Insulation can be added inside, if needed. Very good asset to have for anybody who lives in California. Thanks for the video. Good to see how quickly it is set up and ready to move in.
Nice review ! I appreciate you not making me sit through cutting a cord of firewood, then insist on cooking me breakfast over the camp fire. I would highly recommend putting down a tarp under the floor of the tent as a vapor barrier . Tuck any excess completely under. This will reduce condensation, making it more comfortable and prolong the life of the floor by preventing from accumulating mud and grit on the underside. This is why I also cushion the tarp with a blanket. It will also provide insulation from the cold ground. I also put another blanket or carpeting on the floor inside the tent. What ruins tent floors is grinding grit and stones against the floor material; eventually making holes.
What a great video thank you for making it but the long black peace is a floor mat that goes out front of the tent it has two hooks on either side that hooks onto the tent so it doesn't fly away and it keeps the dirt from getting inside your tent it is not meant to be used to as a replacement patch for the inside of the tent just that yellow paper patch that is the replacement patch. Once again thank you so much for making this video it was awesome and hope you're enjoying your tent 😊 Have a wonderful blessed day
Nice video. I did a video on the same tent a year ago. You have more views in three months than I have in a year. Guess I should have added music. Good luck with your channel.
Thanks for the review. Thinking about picking up this tent from craigslist for only $25 in new condition. I don't think I can go wrong for that price! The only waterproof tents I would trust out of the bag is Coleman and Big Agnes. North Face, Eureka and other "fancy/pricey" tents have let me down for their weatherproofness out of the bag.
$25 is not bad at all hopefully you took advantage of that deal. I also suggest taking a tarp and putting it under the tent to make it more waterproof.
you may think this is lame but you look quite "buff". Perhaps consider having your wife, daughter, sister, mother aunt, grandmother or some young adult female try to set some of these tents up by themselves and THEN take them down. Yes,it is an instant tent for you but is it an instant tent for me, older adult female. I love to camp. Don't want to use a little 2/3 person tent but putting up a tent by myself is a nightmare especially if not as strong as you are and/or the wind wind picks up. Just a thought. That is the video(s) I m waiting for. Not ones that would be insulting. Someone that really wants to put up a tent, who is not as strong, is solo tent camping. thank you for taking the time to make these videos.
Hi Diana, thank you for your comment I don't think its lame at all! That's a great suggestion and very practical 👍 I will try my best to making another set up video with a female family member, Happy New Years!
That is not floor repair peice that peice hooks to the bottom outside of your tent on the bottom of the door its to catch dirt and debre from getting into your tent
When I first got it I was dreading packing it up but after using it for a few years now I got it down to a science, maybe I'll drop a video of packing it up my way !
they are called tent pegs.you handle the tent poorly tossing around like a trash bag. apparently you are new to this, tent poles, power cord outlet. buy yourself a tarp for under the tent
