How is it? Is there any ideas of bringing a next generation in place? Do you have any insights? By the way, thanks for showing the trunk of the harness, it seems to be massive.
Great review Benjamin. I have had mine on order since December and it is to be done by May 16! Looking forward to trying it out. I have been flying the Super Delight 2 which is nice but it is too small for BV in my opinion. Again thanks.
My BV1 just came in! Pretty excited to hike up this up my local site. As for getting in it, my God it's something new. Interesting all the string that holds you in. 😂 fantastic design for sure. Not going to lie it's going to take some getting used too. Probably best to leave everything hooked up and slip it on like pants. Then clip the chest 😂 Thanks for the video, helped on deciding to get this harness
Hey Ben, great review ! Could you tell me how the BV1 feels sitted in compared to the F race. Also do you feel that the F race packs smaller than the F race in the bag? Thanks

Suuper helpful review, thanks a lot! One question: is there a hole for a peetube?
Hey Ben awesome video. For the reserve do you have to have a specific lightweight reserve to fit? I have an independence Cornetto 140 for my open harness and wondering if that would fit or if I need to get a whole new reserve. Cheers love your videos.
Hi! Thanks for the video. Is it easy to take an upright position for a while in the BV1, e.g. in heavy turbulence? Or sit up quickly in case of a collapse? Since similar harnasses like the Supair Strike and Skywalk Range x-alps mention this specifically...
great video Ben, i had a dangle in one in keswick and was sold on the quality, make my current lime green blue pod look like it came out of a christmas cracker! what sunglasses are you wearing i noticed they have sides look like an in-between goggles and glasses? i want some too!
Actually I am looking forward to buy my first pod-harness. I am 187cm tall and got loooooong legs. What do you think (should be hard to say, I know): Will I fit into it and is the harness good as the first pod-harness? I am not a beginner.
Hi, nice to see what fits all in this harness, love it. But when you fly without tent, sleeping bag etc. is the harness flattering a lot? I mean this could kill a bit the performance, right?
I've been flying it the last few days without any gear and it's absolutely fine. I think because of the rods in the back pocket, it keeps it all in shape.
Hi Benjamin. Love your videos. Heard of you in Gavin Mclurgh recent podcast. Would you have a list of the equipment you carry when going volbiv ? What model of tent, sleeping bag, air mattress do you use and like ? Thanks a lot.
Hi Benjamin, Thx for this great video. I received mine that I only tested on a test gantry. The magnet above the knees does not clip in very well. Do you have a setting to fix this problem ?
Where are the attachment points for the front-mounted reserve to the harness? I guess what I am trying to get at is: If you throw the reserve are you hanging up right?
Hi Ben, Mind if I ask how tall are you Ben, and what size harness are you using, and whether the recommended sizes on the Ozone website seem tobe about right when you actually get hands on a BV1 fr the first time?
I am 175cm and I have the ML, yeah the recomendations are right. Sometimes if you are close between two sizes it might depend more on your body shape. If you are quite slim then maybe smaller and if you are broader then the larger size could be better. I went with a bigger size and i find it super comfortable. How tall are you?
A great review thanks Benjamin, that harness looks great with some well thought out features! Now to start saving😂😂😂Will this become your go to harness now???
Yeah, the soft links are a bit of a faff if you're not used to them but honestly I've been flying with them for a year now and you forget about them. Especially if you just leave them attached.
yeah I guess there is a few trade offs, it definitely maximises the storage space and I like the way this reserve sits as it makes a nice cockpit. I'm not usually a fan because it makes putting a solar panel on complicated with achieving a clean deployment, but these loops really solve that issue.
So there is a few ways to adjust the recline of the harness, there is the shoulder strap lines (as shown in the video) and there is also lumbar adjustments. You can let them all fully out to be in a very reclined position or close them to be more upright. Both of these are spliced dinema, easiest way is to hang in the harness and play around until you feel comfortable. There is also 3 adjustments (on each side) for the pod length and angle, these are also spliced dinema so no need to untie or retie any lines. If you hit this link at the top you can download the manual. www.flyozone.com/paragliders/products/harnesses/bv1 If you have any more specific questions just let me know!
@@BenjaminKellett Thank you: The BV1 has an integral front mounted reserve parachute container. The container is certified for parachutes with a volume of between 3 and 5ltr. My beamer 3 #130: 4959 ccm. ¿You think it would only be bulky or also could affect deployment?
