That early 360 (1'29) wasnt a great plan. Wind was clearly strong, and a 360 at that height, in that wind, is always going to pull you back into the red zone. Nice glider tho.
Rush 6 is an amazing wing. Speed bar is the best and gives lots of extra speed for safety in these conditions. But why Fly and get stuck like a Fat Seagull. Better to be on the ground wishing you were up than the reverse. If trees are bending like these stay on the ground. Fly safe. Frank in Ireland
More Cross Wind flying , more speedbar and hands up next time... anyway you controlled it to a safe landing... When you are in those strong winds never! fly circles to find thermal core... Fly 8's in front of the slope instead with weight Shift and hands up combined with Speed Bar...when you have reached a decent hight you maybe try a first circle...but, normally you cant Center thermals in those conditions because they a simply too ripped ...those days are more for dynamic soaring
Indeed you are right, but how many asymmetrics I took in that day was not very comfortable in flight. The problems started because I tried to find the core thermal too quickly, and so I woke up behind the compression zone, from the beginning I had to push more in front ... The problem was that day that the wind direction changed a lot, there I take off from the side of the hill :) Thanks a lot for the advice and nice flights!
@@danieldjan420 There's always lots to learn. Maybe double check the wind forcast and study the shape of the hill. It can really change how things feel on different days from different directions. Wind is always something that can catch you by surprise and leave you in a bad place. You might be getting more collapses because your not using the brakes properly. Check out active flying. I'm not an expert but I've survived enough mistakes over the years ;-)
