I last heard this song when I was in 5th grade, used my big brother's cassette which has the similar cover and fell in love with it right away. Now it surely brings back great memories and yeah the desire to listen to it is irresistible, didn't know I was listening to a pure classic that time but I'm glad I get to venture in to it thanks to my big brother's radio cassette player. At 35 now and married with kids, I'll make sure they listen to this as well.

I always knew what I wanted to be I knew for sure I knew for sure! Fun fact I saw Oz perform this live in 2018. The crowd went absolutely insane. When Ozzy plays a gem like Desire we all took notice and rocked our faces off! Fuck was it good honestly it was better than album version. Ozz’s voice was on point Zakk nailed every note, shit Tommy Clufetos nailed all of Randy Castillo’s work on the drums. It was a revival for this diamond of a track.

("Har du ikke nogen søm") as the solo was about to kick off, and either they couldn't remove it from the recording or thought it was dope. Was King Diamond doing some sort of DIY project? Who in that room spoke Danish apart form him? We will never know.
