You gotta give it up to Ozzy, he's been rocking, drinking, basically living the craziest batshit insane life a person could ever afford to live and it's still pulling good gigs, dude's a fucking legend.
In my opinion, I can’t choose between Zakk, Jake or Randy but you can’t say one or another is better or worse because they all have way different playing styles. So it’s all preference but honestly for me, they are all great! LONG LIVE OZZY
When Ozzy is right back in the moment his vocal power focuses and he smiles. Then my heart smiles when Ozzy smiles and he is doing what he does better than anyone for as many years as he has been. Ozzy is the king of metal. I love to see Zakk Wylde onstage with Ozzy omfg. Thank you!
If rockers nowadays at 40 cant even sing their early 2000s songs Ozzy can still sting sing his late 70s 80s and 90s stuff maybe not really great but he still a badass singer at his old age
It always amazes me how well Ozzy gets around at his age even after everything he's done. I hope I'm still moving around as well as he does when I reach his age.
shoeplaystops that's true, but assuming I do make it that long, if I weren't able to still move around and have some fun I'd probably end up putting a bullet in my own head to end that misery.
Also regarding he was beaten as a child, also tried to drug himself to death when he got fired from Black Sabbath, he got choked and knocked into unconsciousness multiple times, toppled by a four-wheeler, fell and broke various bones, got treated for rabies because he bit a bat's head off, and yet he powered through it all and he's rocking in his 70's where as most people his age are rocking in rocking chairs.
I saw Ozzy when this album first came out at the CNE Grandstand at Toronto, Canada. It was an open air concert and the stadium was packed. I was lucky to stand about twenty feet from the stage with my friends. Ozzy sang his heart out. Zack played and spit above his head until it came down. Ozzy also took a quick minute break behind stage while Zack dragged on for a solo play. After the show, we left the stadium and there were lots of these guys selling t-shirts with the album cover on it. Ok, I bought one for $10. Me and my friends had so much fun to finally see Ozzy!🤗🌙
I'd say he sounds pretty damn good for his age and health. You would be lying to yourself if you said he sounded exactly like he did back then or super close to what he did. But if you account for the microphone quality and distortion from it being a live concert , he still sounds pretty damn good. The instruments seemed a bit off. He did a great job especially with his new album and I love that he actually sings at a concert unlike some of the newer artists.
The light in the window is a crack in the sky A stairway to darkness in the blink of an eye A levee of tears to learn she'll never be coming back The man in the dark will bring another attack Your momma told you that you're not supposed to talk to strangers Look in the mirror, tell me, do you think you life's in danger, yeah? No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) (Tears, tears...) Another day passes as the night closes in The red light goes on to say it's time to begin I see the man around the corner waiting, can he see me? I close my eyes and wait to hear the sound of someone screaming here No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) It's just a sign of the times Going forward in reverse Still, he who laughs last Is just a hand in the bush So now that it's over, can we just say goodbye? (I'd like, I'd like) I'd like to move on and make the most of the night Maybe a kiss before I leave you this way Your lips are so cold, I don't know what else to say I never wanted it to end this way, my love, my darling Believe me when I say to you in love, I think I'm falling here No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) No more tears (Tears, tears) Is just a hand in the bush (In the bush, in the bush, in the bush...)
