Pōmaikaʻi Lyman's first song is a Hawaiian Hula standard. She is accompanied by two lovely hula dancers. Enjoy!

This was played at my school while some students did Hula. I love this song and her version of singing it. Her voice it so pretty, and the song itself is just so nice to listen to.

She has an amazing voice. I did not know what to expect when the video opened because I had not heard of Pomaikaʻi before. But when she started singing, I was overwhelmed by the clarity and vibrancy of her singing. Love it! Mahalo!

Jesus loves you and wants you to follow Him ❤ He is the way, the truth, and the life. I was an atheist for years until I had a supernatural encounter with Jesus that profoundly changed my life. The gift of salvation and eternal life is available to all who put their trust in Jesus. He can heal you of the deepest pain, disease, trauma, addictions, and shame. Seek Him with a genuine and humble heart and He will reveal His existence to you.

Menehune Beachbumboogie k and T sound are intetchangeable . Was “T” sound wherever k was before the “ missionaries decided the “k” sound was softer and less “savage” . S sounds , “ng” sounds. “Old Hawaiian” they call it now but pops up in mele and oli.

Tawo why am i just now seeing this comment? Swear i get no notifications when someone does. Thats crazy....i was gonna say i know Maori, Samoa, and Tahiti use "T" in their language...but yeah that makes sense. I heard on Oiwi TV a tutu say "I speak the OLD Hawaiian Language" thats really interesting. Why the fuck did they mess with our language? I understand making them speak only English, but why mess with the Language?
@apuahui2x
@apuahui2x 4 года назад
Menehune Beachbumboogie, making our people only speak English back then WAS messing with our language! That was part of the planned denationalization.

Hey there, stop for a second and read this: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." ~ John 3:16 Life is too short to just throw it away. Live it right for God, love God, and inherit eternal life in God's kingdom ❤️. The new Kingdom will be free of the curse of sin (death, suffering, violence, disease, evil, etc.) A true, spiritual journey awaits you! 🕊❤️ I was a militant atheist for years and later dabbled in the occult. I never imagined I would be a Christian. I hated the religion. However, I had a supernatural encounter with Jesus that completely changed me and my life. Nothing this world can offer you even compares to knowing Jesus. His peace, love, and joy transcends all. Jesus Christ loves you, He is your Creator ❤️🕊🙏 Seek Him with a genuine heart and He will reveal His existence to you. The truth shall make you free, friends! (John 8:32) ❤️🕊🙏
