Outstanding once again, Javier! Like your recent F-80s, these P-47Ds have been beautifully built and finished. They simply reinforce the fact that you are indeed a very talented modeller! Well done!👍
Hey man, Bill Grigg here. So cool to find you here. I too have a RU-vid channel at "Modeling With Bill Grigg" or "PMCMP". The 47's look great, you are a talented dude, but man do you move fast (LOL). I'm still building like crazy, into 1/16th scale figures big time. Just did the old 1958 Aurora Golden Knight along with 4 Verlinden Zouaves, a Pegaso 54mm Ninja, Sitting Bull in 1/16th, The Invisible Man in 1/8th, Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde in 1/8th and right now I'm painting a kit bash of the Millennium Falcon cut to pieces and married to a 1/48 Russian Frogfoot. Getting ready to do something with a 1/48 Scorpion, but not sure where that is going to go, I got Sea Scimmer in mind But ????. Anyhow this is so cool, miss seeing you, I'm still doing contests and vending. I'll say hello to all and turn them on to your channel. This is GREAT !!!!! Bill G.
Hi, thank you very much for your words and message, you build quite a few projects at the same time!!!... I have a couple to finish and others just started, among them a Lindberg Goshawk, a kit from the 50s. I subscribed to your channel, You explain your techniques and process quite carefully, your dioramas are very interesting, I remain attentive to the progress of the AC-47, I built one too but in a "modernized" version (BT 67, turbo propeller engines) with the same Monogram kit, I like them a lot of these old kits. Best regard!!! Javier.O.
@jariordoyt You're very much welcome! I had to Google the national insignia as it was familiar, but I wasn't sure.... I've been thinking about building aircraft for the Latin and South America countries, and this inspired me to look into it again.... As much as I love the P-47, I think that I'll build a T-6 Texan, PT-17 Stearman or even the F-86 Sabre for Colombia.... Im looking forward to see you build more! The F-80 next!
@@Duececoupe Thank you very much, I am glad to know that you are interested in Latin American topics, there is a good variety of airplanes with interesting schemes and stories, many successes with those Colombian airplane projects!👍
@jariordoyt Many thanks, much appreciated! I loved history and geography in school and still do many years later! Latin and South America are often overlooked in modelling, which is a shame, looking forward to build and learn! 👍🏻
Hola Juan Carlos, muchas gracias!.
I used AutoCAD but you can use any 3D modeling program. That's right, along with 3D printers they are a great resource for making parts that are not commercially available.
