thus came on the news years ago. there was a lady having open heart sugery. there r 3 phases of anesthesia: part that make U unconscious part that paralyze U and a pain killer. while under the painkiller and unconscious part wore off but the paralyzing part was still in tac so she was unable to alert the med staff that she was awake. this surgery last for hours.
