"Tell Me" is the second single from Diddy's 2006 album, Press Play. The song features Christina Aguilera and is produced by Just Blaze. According to All Access, the single hit radio stations on November 7, 2006.
This was back then one of the biggest and most popular club hits , after this song I absolutely liked Christina. Btw she looks outstanding in this video just wow
I love that Christina is fully clothed and she is smoking hot. These new pop stars need to realize that less isn't always more when it comes to clothes. You go girl christina
+SuperLovebug8 Christina literally wore ass-less chaps in 'Dirrty' and booty shorts in 'Can't Hold Us Down'. In other words, women can wear whatever they like.
+SuperLovebug8 Uh Christina used to wear way less then most of the pop stars today. The difference is that Christina has so much talent that she didn't solely rely on that.
I remember actually being shocked when this video first played on TRL and seeing Christina in some modern clothes with straight hair and no red lip. I know she had that 1920s thing going on in 2006 for B2B... but it was nice for her to do a contrast to that look and jump on this record. This is still one of my favorite songs. :)
I grew up on the era where Christina started her career on music industry. And she was probably the only artist on her generation that had so many collaborations with differents kind of musician. And i praise Christina for that.
what i love about Christina is how she really puts her "all "into every performance, full of power and emotion, this is what singing is about, its supposed to move people, she is one of the best, def :-)
When i hear music like this I just realise how fast time has gone. Like it just feels like yesterday when this song was playing on the radio stations but it's been 9 years...
+Lydia Nasreen oh sorry, i thought we were on youtube and not in a languages forum. Try to be on a my shoes, my mother language is not english either any germanic root languages.
Just wait on JT's and Tim's new albums and we'll get 2006 vibe back ;) Thanks to Meghan Trainor who brought that late 90's early 2000's good shit with "No" :P
Man. I used to listen to this song NON-STOP when I was in high school. At first, I thought that this collaboration wasn't going to be good but this was PERFECT! Straight hot!
I completely forgot about this song.. It's really good, I never pictured Christina in hip hop without thinking it would sound forced but this sounds like she belongs in the song. Thumbs up
I remember being so pressed that this was a one off project and NOT a full era with Christina going HARD on current music back in 2006! I know X is a master on the retro sound, now B2B is a classic era and her trademark but back then I was wishing THIS was the sound her 3rd album had and B2B would be the later sound during her Burlesque era. She was a BEAST on this joint
Further proof that Christina should have Embrace her R&B side more. She was on that path with Genie in a Bottle, What a Girl Wants, I Turn to You, and So Emotional.
Without Diddy, this song wouldn't have been produced... some might find him "annoying" but he's one of the most important people in the music industry, especially Hip-Hop/RnB and the like... a large number of hits came to existence due to his involvement!
