There is a poem that is to be read right before the 4th movement. Nikita is reciting it in German, I believe. If my memory is correct, it's about how we live in a modern, industrial age in cities and the charm and solitude of the countryside is lost. I believe the horn or saxophone is supposed to represent the countryside and the piano is the city life.

Good play, but awfull sound..... How can one like classical saxophone.??? Congratulation for your playing but try to play other things.... And like everytime, in concerts of classical saxophone : no one in the public (except familly and friends !!)

Kazanci Per I admit this is not the best representation of classical saxophone, try listnening to other artists such as Arno Bornkamp (my favourite piece from him is Concertino de Camera)

That's so narrow minded...it's not the best representation of classical saxophone but it sure can be classical, it doesn't have to be jazz! Music can be whatever you want it to be! Saxophones are so versatile you can use a sound like this to play classical anyday, there's just little music written for it. Not everyone wants to play jazz, yaknow...
