Okay, how did I not realize when I was a kid and was a fan for these songs for their catchiness, that Pink was actually a revolutionary?

This song, man... This song got me through 4 months of diagnostic for my stage iv breast cancer. From January 2020 to April 2020, it got me out the door, through all that pain, the biopsies, that terrible MRI, the wedge resection, all of it! I went to every meeting and appointment with this song. It taught me to laugh through the tears. It still gets me through to my next my PET scan every six months. It grabs me and shoves me out the door for my monthly labs... It's been 3 years, and I'm still here! Thank you!

Fun fact: 2:28 was actually a flub on Pink starting the chorus too early, but was left it because it fits perfectly.

I feel like Pink is so popular with the underdogs of society because she can relate to it, but also owns that shit. She understands the social pressures which are forced upon people, despite their gender, sexuality, race etc. I think that is why i have always liked her so much, as a musician and a person, because she actually understands what it is like to actually 'live' (plus her music is pretty easy on the ears). I grew up in such a homophobic area where so many people saw the world in black and white. We need more colour in todays society. I guess what i am trying to say (poorly) is that in a society of black and white, don't be afraid to be orange or pink? Red or green? Just be yourself and love yourself
