she's so fucking fierce! man, artists that can not only bring it live but who just make you want to watch them are what makes music the best creative force in the world!
When Pink performs live, she often lets her voice cut out, takes deliberate breaths, and yes, even lets the background singers overpower her. She does this things to prove that she's singing LIVE and not lip syncing. She's described this in more than one interview. Especially when she's doing live wire acts, she doesn't NEED to take the breaths she does, she does it so people know that she's singing that well while flying through the air or using a guy's body to break a table.
I know I love her! She was on T4 presents P!nk yesterday and I was so impressed! Normally most singers sound pretty bad live but she is fantastic as always :)
The fact that she actually uses her own voice instead of playback and it's just the same as the studio proves she really is the best pop singer out there.
@PInkFunhouseFreaks I agree. A lot of singer's voice gets modulated when they sing on CDs and stuff, or simply just isn't prepared to be able to sing live so well. It's pretty rare that the CD and live versions are so similar... so yah, I agree. She's awesome.
@mermaidofsuburbia She's not lip syncing. You can clearly hear when her voice stops at that point, then picks up when she sings again. Plus if very difficult to lip sync the bravado. No, this is no lip sync. You're wrong.
It's not really fair to compare P!nks voice to Britney's. Britney is a dancer/performer while P!nk is a singer. Would it fair to compare P!nk's dancing to Britney's?
am i the only one who shipped the guitarist and pink together? like yeah to each their own and I don't wanna get into her private life, I just had a like of them together
I just bought them to see her in Rotterdam in the Netherlands (A) so cewl had to click the link for 45 minutes to come through but got through eventually, best tickets (A). She doesn't sound as good as she did though, but she rocks at 3:32 to 3:35 that note she hit (A)
