We had a great time onboard Arcadia, we both love the older ships. This was our first cruise with P&O, and we've booked to go on Aurora next year, and very much looking forward to that. We hope you have a wonderful cruise for your 70th!
Nice vid we were also on the same cruise you filmed us we have just seen ourselves walking past you as you were filming by the casino 😊 The ship is ok but we found the late night bufffet to be awful and just leftovers from that evenings buffet dinner, also drinks service from the bars and for hot drinks was very slow 😮 as a quick xmas getaway to Amsterdam and for what we paid £600 for Balc was ok but wouldnt do a longer cruise on Arcadia again till she has had her refit and reviews are better, we have cruised a lot over the last 20 years and oh my how standards have dropped and they cant keep blaming Covid for these actions anyway thanks again for the vid and for us for the 1st time ever being on film 😂
Thanks for the kind comment. We didn't mind the late night buffet when we tried it, but we only went the one time, and just had some curry, which was fine. We didn't try it for dinner at all, as the queue to get in was a bit offputting! We had similar slow experience for drinks service on the first night, but after that we honestly didn't really have any problems with service, maybe we got lucky with being in the right places at the right times :). We actually really enjoyed the 4 nights onboard, and were pleasantly surprised, as we had quite low expectations from the comments and vlogs we've seen, and this being our first cruise with P&O we didn't have much of a benchmark. Anyway, happy cruising!
