Great footage. Thank you so much. I have just booked to go on the Arcadia ( smaller ship ) January 2026, wiil be lovely to see some updating. I will be solo travelling, the ship looks perfect for me 🇬🇧👏
Thank you for watching our video! We’re glad you liked it. Arcadia is a lovely ship. She does need a little updating but everything is clean which is the most important. Have a fantastic cruise!
It has given me a preview of what to expect for our upcoming Christmas cruise. We too have cruised on Arvia and Iona and to be honest they are too big. Arcadia reminds me of the lovely, much missed Oceana, so I am expecting to love her. Thanks for a great video
Thank you for watching our video and for your lovely comments. We had been on a big modern ship not too long before we sailed on Arcadia so we weren’t sure how we would feel about her but Arcadia is a fantastic ship. The crew are lovely and we enjoyed the food and entertainment. Have a wonderful cruise!
We really enjoyed it! She’s looking a bit tired in places but the crew were lovely and the food was really good. We would quite like to try a longer cruise - this was only 3 nights
Had my first ever cruise on the Arcadia this April just gone. Some close friends had there wedding on the ship and we then spent the next seven days cruising the Spanish & French coasts. I had a wonderful time, the staff and service were amazing and the quality and quantity of the food and drink was fantastic especially in the formal restaurant, but the quality of the buffet was great too. You could see she was a bit past her best in some areas, but for a ship of her age its to be expected and nothing that can't be touched up in the November refit.
Completely agree with all you have said. She’s a lovely ship and we felt that the crew were fantastic. Yes she needs a bit of tlc in places but otherwise she’s great. Thank you for watching our video!
Fantastic video, giving me some insight for a cruise I am going on end of May/June next year to The Norweigan Fjords and I honestly can't wait. Plus she is due a bit of a refit at the end of November
I've booked the same cruise, solo travelling. My first cruise and happy with choice of ship due to it being adult only and mid-size. We may bump into each other!
We're going on the Arcadia in November 24 for a fortnight cruise. Looking forward to it. We've only sailed once with P&O and that was on the Iona. I think the Arcadia, being smaller, will be nicer. Did you have Freedom Dining, and were the queues long? It was horrendous on the Iona, even with the "app". Thanks for the video.
When it was busy we were given buzzers so we could go off and have a pre dinner drink until a table was ready. We’ve been on Arvia and Iona and we think Arcadia has a much nicer atmosphere. Thank you for watching our video. Have a fantastic cruise!
As a celebration of my son's 21'st I have to say it was an experience I will not easily forget. I doubt I will ever explain how surprised I was to be waiting 85 minutes for a pager to dine with my son on the first night. Fine dining we were promised!! Golly GOSH Mummy is a Chief and she taught Daddy to cook. I tell you now it was not my usual experience. Freedom dining may have a special implications on Arcadia, which is an experience of it own. So we need to complain, so be it. Please leave the Table Covering there, I have yet to finish my soup. Apparently P&O used to have a silent Q (Ho Ho)
obviously paid to do a review of the ship.....absolute disgrace should be taken out of service...but then again if your used to benidorm it might be a upgrade...!
Thank you for watching our video! We can 100% say we haven’t been paid for this. All of our cruises are paid for ourselves. Some of the furnishings are dated and she’s a bit rusty on the outside but we felt that the service was fantastic, the food very good and we really enjoyed our cruise. We can only give our opinion as we see it and hope that by watching our video, it shows others what they can expect from Arcadia
