So many memories on this ship. Hopefully they will send her to the Caribbean again one time. I'll definitely be booked on that cruise. She just nice and simple.
It seems that the Britannia does the Caribbean now, the Azura does the Canaries, and the Ventura does longer cruisers from Southampton as a no-fly option and starts with the 35-day cruise. That will no doubt change... But agreed, we had some wonderful times in the Caribbean on the Azura and the Adonia.
We only been on the iona so this will be strange. I guess there two sitting for dinner? The cabin steward was available all the time if we had lazy day they did the room once we left after 12
she was only built in 2014... if that is old then there are a few ships at sea who are OAP's.... I guess compared to the likes of the IONA they have so much more modern style and more to offer the compassion is hard, but compared to the classic R class ships, it is modern. If you are lucky enough to have Trieste as a port, before you jump to the idea of going to Venice talk to those who did it. With a 3 hour journey there and again back, it is a long day where if you don't take packed lunch from the grab and go, can be lost in a restaurant. Take a look at Trieste first, and this film is only half of it. It is a port that needs two days or a very early start. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hzfILPJRTpA.html To chat with others, the chat group is here. facebook.com/groups/Azura.cruise.ship
Hi, going on Azura this September 2023. Flying with TUI into Malta. Do you know if luggage is automatically taken to the ship or do we have to collect it ourselves. cant find any definate answers
You collect you luggage, take it to the coach outside, then it goes to your cabin. Unless things have changed. Enjoy... we have done it this year and had a great time. See the Trieste video if you are going there ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hzfILPJRTpA.html
Ha... most people say too loud. But, that is probably because they are listening on a smart phone pizzo thing, you may have been on better speakers. It is hard with such a diverse set of user platforms.
Not on many ships and at the moment not on P&O. I don't know many hotels that do now, unless you pay for someone to turn your bed back. I am not sure they have made it a purchasable option, I have not seen that offered. There are stewards around in the evening now, some, where as it used to be a ghost town after midday.
Now this ship visits Eastern Mediterranean ports in the summer, it has some great cruises. Here is SPLIT ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NvbQSCk8AeE.html
It would be great if there was a play facility where the music and dialogue were separate and you could place your own music. I guess that's a few years away. Until then, if its the Happer Cruisers music from my composer, a dance track come Sex in the City./... we have had that since 2015.
I personally did not find the music at all bothersome and I’d like to compliment you on your interesting and articulate presentation. You are very telegenic and I would imagine you have media studies/training under your belt ( if not you’re a natural).
