P&O Britannia G406 - Obstructed View Balcony 

We had the same problem recently on Britannia as Ken Harrington as we were given an upgrade from inside to a balcony cabin on G deck but it was right above the entrance/exit to the smoking area. Instead of fresh air it was other people' smoke wafting up as they all seem to want to congregate in the door way right below our balcony although there was plenty of room further along. Smokers really don't have any thought for non smokers as long as they can fill their lungs with that stuff. They were noisey too.

Great view! We’ve got G420 cabin for a Caribbean cruise in 4 weeks time. So it’s not a bad spot 😃

We just returned from Caribbean and had the cabins on the starboard side opposite your cabin............BUT our cabins were above the SMOKING DECK allocated to the smokers on board ship. Unfortunately the smokers have NO respect for the cabins directly above that deck and so they get out early morning 5.30am and yes they talk very loudly as so you cant have your balcony door left open over night. We returned from a very good night in Brodies bar one early morning around 2am to have 4 people still smoking whilst laughing joking and making lots of noise...........................Come on P&O sort something out about this ongoing problem.

Theres plenty of rooms like ot across all p and o cruise ships. I'm guessing you like p and o as you have Britannia as your pic

We had a cabin on the opposite side to your cabin. Great cabin and no obstruction but the noise from the air conditioning units directly below was horrendous. We wanted to move but the ship was full so had to put up with it. Great ship and we would sail on Britannia again but would like to know if it was noisy on this side too? We were above Java and I think this cabin is above the Glasshouse.

I wouldn't say this was a restricted view balcony as you had nothing blocking your view in the front only at the sides unlike the cabins either side of you who did have the life boats directly in front of them now they would be classed as obstructed view but yours no at least you could see straight out to the horizon without any obscurities apart from your immediate right and further down the left side that's all
