"if joy really comes in the morning time then I'm going to sit back and wait until the next Sunrise" I've actually seen the sunrise while listening to that part it's so beautiful and uplifting.
Born and raised in SoCal... I used to really love to listen to P.O.D. because of their local flavor, and positive messages. Now to see this, they are playing with one of my favorite artists as their backup singer... awesome. Katy Perry... from my hometown S.B. (805). Love it!
LYRIC : I can still see the light at the end of the tunnel shine Through the dark times even when I lose my mind But it feels like no one in the world is listening And I can't ever seem to make the right decisions I walk around in the same haze I'm still caught in my same ways I'm losing time in these strange days But somehow I always know the right things to say I don't know what time it is Or who's the one to blame for this Do I believe what I can't see? And how do you know which way the wind blows? €~Cause I can feel it all around I'm lost between the sound And just when I think I know there she goes Goodbye for now Goodbye for now, so long Goodbye for now (I'm not the type to say "I told you so") Goodbye for now, so long (I think the hardest part of holdin' on is lettin' it go) When will we sing a new song, a new song? We're still smilin' as the day goes by And how come nobody ever knows the reasons why? Bury you deep so far that you can't see If you're like me who wears a broken heart on your sleeve Pains is troubles that you know so well Either time don't, it can't, or it just won't tell I'm not the type to say "I told you so" I think the hardest part of holdin' on is lettin' it go I don't know what time it is Or who's the one to blame for this Do I believe what I can't see? And how do you know which way the wind blows? €~Cause I can feel it all around I'm lost between the sound And just when I think I know there she goes Goodbye for now Goodbye for now, so long Goodbye for now (I'm not the type to say, "I told you so") Goodbye for now, so long (I think the hardest part of holdin' on is lettin' it go) When will we sing a new song, a new song? When will we sing a new song, a new song? And you can sing until there's no song left And I can scream until the world goes deaf For every other word left unsaid You shoulda took the time to read the sign and see what it meant In some ways everybody feels alone So if the burden is mine then I can carry my own If joy really comes in the morning time Then I'ma sit back and wait until the next sunrise Goodbye for now (I'm not the type to say, "I told you so") Goodbye for now, so long (I think the hardest part of holdin' on is lettin' it go) When will we sing a new song, a new song? When will we sing a new song, a new song
You're usually not allowed to have a cell phone present during a Television live recording for broadcast. Plus, this was 2006, a time when phones weren't as popular or advanced like in today's society. Stupid comment.
hey sony & guys of P.O.D God shine with you every days, and remember we stay here waiting for your songs that exalt the name of God... Shalom and God Bless yours !!
Two of the 3 of my all time favorite groups are from dan diego... P.O.D., and Tribal Seeds ...my third would be Cypress Hill ...i finally got to see POD live in Morongo a few years ago and they still can get it done
It's weird how my brain was trying to wrap itself around the fact that they got back together for this. But now I realize its from '06. Good ass quality.
Época boa , já me sinto tiozão , há 10 anos atrás estava vivenciando a melhor fase e nem tinha a noção, de que coisas boas iriam se esvair... P.O.D pra sempre!
mo6xx I'd say that it is weird because this isn't even near the image of Katy that we've been getting familiar with for years now ever since she became a part of the Hollywood empire.
agreed pretty weird. but i do find it a bit endearing she taking the effort to do this. seems to me she plays second violin in this small time performance while she has thousands coming to her show
Fr3akymet4l On one hand, I feel you. We grew so used to seeing Sonny rocking the dreads in the prime of P.O.D. to the point where we associate something as simple as a hairstyle as a signature stamp to a much "greater time." Not just the case with P.O.D. but many other artists as well who've standed the tests of time. Now on the other hand; who cares? Sonny Sandoval is still Sonny Sandoval, whether he has dreads or not. I understand you're probably still young, but some people end up losing their hair as they age (like Jahred Gomes from (hed) PE, who also had dreads) & so they end up having to shave off their hair, without being granted much of a choice. So, I think it's always important not to judge someone (man or woman) by their looks; but more by the essence of their character. If you go see P.O.D. live in concert today, you'd know that Sonny is still killing it regardless of whatever hair he might have on his scalp. He was great then, he's still great now.
