My step dad bought a 80 gb ipod in Minnesota from a punk kid with a bong on his kitchen table and i ended up with all of his music in 7th grade and because of that giy ive never met I had POS forst 2 albums and ive been a huge fan ever since! Thanks stoner in Minnesota!
“Release my fists when my ashes hit the the Pacific, and I’m infinitely swimming in the ether where the teachers be. Waves, thumbs up, sunglasses emoji. Peace.” This song blew me away when it first came out. Still loving it all these years later.
I just miss you P.O.S. Please come back. Your music holds a special place in my heart and would not like this to be the end. You and E-dubble were the two rappers who got me through some rough times and we lost E-dub to illness. I hope for some new music from you at least. I would even love for a whole Doomtree, but I know that is probably too big of a wish. You were my most favorite from the collective. So fingers crossed taht at least you will make a comeback...
Myke C-Town Shit I thought already knew, if I knew you didn't know I would've been blowing up your mentions about it your like the second biggest Doomtree fan I know.
@@zaquis Sadly if you really searched you could probably find a song mentioning police murdering different black men in each year for about 30 years straight.
This is incredible. pure, raw passion. for nine minutes i didn't think about anything except for what was going on right in front of me, and nowadays that's hard to achieve. i'm speechless
Pink Floyd, Comfortably Numb performance for the P*U*L*S*E, except the unedited version. 10 minutes of David Gilmour bliss. But that's not rap, and rap is arguably harder to continue for 20 minute expositions like PF would do.
P.O.S, you have seriously changed my life for the better since my sister first played a song by you. I see idiots talking shit on that KEXP live video, but fuck em, don't ever fucking stop. You are amazing at what you do. I will remember ever lyric to ever song you've ever done until the end man. We, your fans, all love you to death. Never stop making this music. This new song means the world to me, just like the others, if not more so.
3:15 P.O.S. - you have chiseled your initials into my heart and spirit with your compassionate, intellectual, socially conscious lyrics, and I know I can't be the only one that feels that way. I think you've made a permanent mark on humanity.
I hope you still existing in superposition brother. Favorite show at Marquis Theater you know the one with the pizza; the only other that came close was e&a.
so, new POS, new astronautalis, four fists, new Kristoff, new Atmosphere, potentially a new Felt, new Aesop Rock and a new Sadistik album all to look forward. Shaping up to be another great year
+RyanGiggsOBE anddd...The rest of amazing Doomtree peeps (Sims,Dessa,Mike,Lazerbeak,Cecil and papes) all have stuff coming out 2016-2017 as well. YAY! Also, you my friend have an amazing music taste. Sage Francis? B.Dolan? Brother Ali? I really hope they are included as well.
P.O.S, thank you so much. This song was beautiful for me when it came out, the imagery, emotion, POV. It's been our anthem to keep us amped, focused, and optimistic. NO KINGS
Music that will outlive the person who made it. Real spirit in the flesh, something that rattles your noggin like mixing up paint cans, spraying out ink all over the walls of your world with words of wisdom, blinding white light and a ringing in your ears. Hug your loved ones tight and pray to whatever God you believe in, it's a wild time we all find ourselves in.
There aren't many rappers who could ride this insane beat! EPIC! This is going to take a good 20 listens to get my head around! Nice P.O.S. Very nice indeed!
I miss this dude. I used to bump him everyday and still do from time to time. Best shows at the Knitting Factory, Mercury Lounge, Bowery Ballroom, etc. Please come back.
That black blocker That can't stop when the coppers creep And I don't show up I'm trash talk I'm fuck peace I'm Chris Dorner I'm Doberman dirty off leash I'm Mike Brown I'm Eric Garner I can't breathe We face down Our teeth are touching the concrete They curb stomping us Wearing a crown in our streets Pos goes ham
@@Hexavolt Maybe but I see people react to longer songs a lot though its usually rock. This isn't the radio so longer songs just generate more ad revenue for the longer videos.
There's more than one way to skin Schrodenger's cat, Not sure what's holding me back, there's nothing seriously stopping us from getting blown off the map. Oh, yeahhhhhh...
I have listened to this song at least 20 time now and I must say it just keeps getting better. The level of lyrical density and conviction behind the words are fucking beautiful!
Try to really listen to the lyrics and read how others interpreted the lyrics. I thought he says "There's more than one way that's controlling this cat." and then I looked on Genius.com and the lyrics read, "There's more than one way to skin Schrodinger's Cat." Then I searched on RU-vid "Superposition" and found a video about Schrodinger's cat and it was about quantum mechanics.
Yep, Thats Stef for ya. All the Doom folks are too underrated .. but i guess thats for what makes em the best for me. As Stef said, they don't want any of their stuff.
This song for me is about trying to be both understanding that cops are people too, not all are bad/killers. But also being pissed at the ones who murder. The Eric Garner shoutout for example. Stef is trying to exist in superposition with his belief... that's just my take
You never fail to amaze me with your talent been a fan for awhile.... Ipecac Neat until now keep up the amazing work. Looking forward to hearing the new music you're creating
