Dude that handrail location for the stairs is absolutely BRUTAL if anyone ever actually used the ramp

I’ve actually stayed in this room as well as the letter E. while the room was nice and all, there was no heat (which was needed on a cold night) and the shower had flooded. As a result we were moved to the letter E which is movie themed with a big projector but there was no remote for the projector!

Better than most UK skateparks

Imagine the fuken war you have to go through after a long night out. That final ladder/staircase is like the final boss on Impossible -mode!

That looks like paradise for a skater, i'd personally make the botom a motorcycle workskop but the view is just amazing. That vibe just chilling and looking out the port window at night makes me feel some type of way

really love the design choice of putting a glass door 2 feet from a quarter pipe

each letter of the Botel actually has a different theme, the E is movie themed with a giant projector screen and the O is kinky with a round mirror on the ceiling and a little window to peek into the bathroom.

I remember staying at that boat hotel. Never got to go in those rooms but was able to see through the windows.

Fun fact: This hotel is owned by a Dutch youtuber called Hanwe

Seen these letters since for 20 years and had never seen inside. Knew it was an hotel but this is cooler than I expect

It's a mini my man, this is literally something out of my dreams as a pubescent skateboarder. It brings joy just to see this thing.

My only guess on the holes in the boards is that it makes it so no one will try to swap it.

A typical Dutch sunny day 😂. I used to live in a warehouse there that had a huge skate park. I'm sure it's been redeveloped now, but the main canal had a lot of great squats back in the day. It was a real artist mecca.

I live here 2 min away from The Botel in Amsterdam Noord NDSM. We calle it also Masterdam❤❤❤❤

I interned at the architects bureau that designed this. The hotel is called BOTEL, because it's on the topdeck of a boat. Each letter in BOTEL is a unique room with a different obscure theme.
