Ken goes Cruising is a channel dedicated to sharing our experience of cruising. We have enjoyed 50 cruises since 1995. As well as sharing some factual and helpful information the idea behind this channel is to share our joy of cruising. My long suffering wife Lindsey is a very important part of our team. Since our retirement we had planned several bucket list cruises and so far we have only completed one of them. You must have embarked as we disembarked, they took all the soft furnishings away for cleaning, lots of crew washing down, but the crew were so very cheerful

Looks a little choppy!😂Sorry the drinks package is so restrictive and you can only get certain drinks in certain bars…long queues for breakfast-I wouldn’t like that! Hot dog and burger looked good. Robe modeling-loved Lindsay’s expression!😱Like the new graphics, and that bag of Cadbury chocolates! Crew needs to ask people in PJ’s and slippers to go get dressed! So have you hit a new loyalty status? Nice to get lots of presents? Do they always have a choir on P&O ships, or is this a special cruise? I used to love shuffleboard, but I can’t do it any more because of my shoulders. You looked nice for formal night! I love sea days too.

Thanks Cheri. Things are changing on P&O but you get different experiences on different ships. The staff onboard were great. Queues seem to be a function on most budget cruise lines now. The dress of some of the other passengers was a surprise but it didn't affect us in fact it became a bit of a talking point around the ship. The entertainment was good all through the cruise and there is a choir on most P&O cruises as long as they have at least 5 sea days. Thanks for watching and have a great Christmas.

I am due to go on Ventura ship in February time and I have a few questions if anyone could help me out. I was wondering what they have done in terms of refurbishment on the ship? And how good the wifi works? I have brought the highest package for WiFi as I will be using social media and video calling family, but how good is this on board? Thanks so much! 😊

Hi Abi in terms of refurbishment I think it's mainly new carpets. She is still in good condition with just a few marks on the balconies and some of the brass work. I am afraid I can't really answer your question regarding the WiFi as I didn't use it. It really depends when Star link is rolled out on her. If it is before you are on the WiFi will be excellent

Hi I'm going on Ventura in June. Mixed reports about food and taking a drinks package what's your thoughts please ?

@@user-fn5iq2nz2b forget the drinks package, else you must consume 8 pints a day to break even. I got drinks package on 1st 2 cruises and have never got it again on the rest that we have done. Also if 2 adults in cabin then they both must have drinks package, which is £40 each per day, max of 15 drinks per day and 4 per hour.
