It pains me that this game never released. Literally pains me. It looked sooooo good. And the tension, suspense, and horror is incredible (especially for a teaser). Legit makes me terrified to even look around the room. *sigh* Everyday I cry when I think about the possibilities :’( so sad…
totally agreed. I mean look at those lights creepy sounds and all small details they put in the damn game just way so beautiful we can compared it to our lastest horror game and this one was made couple years ago. Konami should regret firing Kojima for this
Mary Zaragoza Lisa standing in the hallway, menacingly staring you down. Lisa attacking you and eating your legs. And Lisa appears at the curtains and glitches out. Also if you die Lisa attacks you by running down the hall at you which is also terrifying.
Your not meant to turn around straight away. It's a trick, if you turn when the radio says to look behind you, Lisa will kill you. You wait until the radio starts chanting the numbers before you turn.

This game never ceases to amaze me. It’s already such a unique experience for everyone who plays it as far as how sometimes the ghost, Lisa, attacks you and appears often, sometimes you hardly see her, or that sometimes the radio talks a lot and sometimes it hardly ever does. But I have never heard the radio speak that Swedish message before ever. And the message he got when the game “crashes” was different from the one I’ve always seen everyone else get. I am so sad the actual game didn’t end up happening, even if it wasn’t going to be anything like this.

I remember playing this with a friend in his dark room with the headphones. I had multiple heart attacks that night. Deadass my chest hurt for a few hours after playing this teaser. This game would have hands down been the scariest game of all time. Just watching this still scares me haha
Right now Its 23:59, im laying in bed watching old videos and eating chips. This feeling of nostalgia is something else. Last time i watched this I was 13. Now i’m almost 23🥲. Time flies. Still a really good video. That’ll never change.

wait what?! They had junji ito on this?! but to be disgustingly honest... I'm glad that they didn't finished this even it tore my heart when i realized it was cancelled idk maybe because they left a handful of mysteries and expectations inside the game. We couldn't get enough of it, there's a lot possibilities in it and that's why in our minds this is the best and scariest game of the decade
Shame on Konami for firing Kojima. He is one of the director behind P.T. and could have made Silent Hill a horror masterpiece. Hopefully his next game Death Stranding can destroy Konami once and for all.
I just watched a countdown by an unappreciated youtuber called Wambu, and he made a scariest "levels" (used loosely) in gaming countdown. The Neverending Hallway from P.T. was No. 3. I just watched Mark's video, and it was terrifying. I am watching Felix's reaction before Jack's, and it's really impressive how much Felix has cleaned up his act since this video was made. I'm fairly new to the channel (I started watching 2017ish) and I just feel uncomfortable with this insensitive and unfiltered version of Felix. Maybe those controversies (they were horrible and he didn't deserve to be vilified by the Internet) changing him for the better a little bit.
@Rage virus and zombification are 2 diverse concepts I was watching another let's play before this and there were 2 jumpscares. And "look behind you" was said several times (oof). So now I'm tryna figure out what's different even though I don't wanna see it again. 😅
we are making a silent hill game, with Hideo Kojima, and Guillermo Del Toro, we got Norman Reedus too. Now we just need to iron out the story, refine the gameplay and use our publisher Konami to help push the game out to open markets- Aaaaand its gone.
It's ironic because silent hill was originally intended to rip off resident evil. Thankfully team silent made it what it is today. Sucks they got snubbed though .

Its 8 years since it was released and the graphics still look real more than anything today the horror ,the sound tracks , the timing , the subtle fear is still 100 times ahead of anything we have today, I just wish that the development of the game could somehow be restarted

And I have my volume really low as I watch this and typing this especially, preparing for a jumpscare while I am writing this. Never have I typed so fast on my phone and so accurately

@@nxakush2304 I saw another video where the guy gouged it out but still turned around and got jumpscared, I looked it up and apparently I believe PewDiePie waited until the haunting was over to turn around, preventing her attack.
The worst part is, it doesn't get less scary with time. I just can't deal with it, even after two years of watching it. The look behind you part gets me so bad.

The radio for sure is the one of the scariest parts of this demo; especially when it goes from talking normally to instantly creepy voice. “Like when it says “Don’t touch that dial now” and “I said look behind you.” Holy shit it gives me pure chills.

Black Jesus Konami had to cancel the game because of the whole hideo kojima/konami split that happened, not budget or anything, so silent hills will "probably" never be released, and if it is it will be a completely different game :) but if you check out his last game it's the same guys and the game looks kinda similar when looking at details
Felix you didn't experience two of the most scary parts of the game because you didn't pay attention to details . One of them was when the ghost run to your face when you get close to her crying after 12 am . Second one when you touch the dial exactly when man in radio call you to don't touch that dial and when you look behind she will jump to your face and lift you up break you neck and then she start to eat you . Give another go to this game .

No it's konami'a fault for letting Kojima leave or firing him. He was supposed to work with del toro but since for unknown reasons for his departure the game had to be cancelled. Its like Konami wants to end themselves. They should be sucking Kojima's dick and do whatever they can to get him back. This was such a disappointment, the game had so much potential. It honestly looked like it would be the best horror game if finished. Damnit!!, they need to get this back, it should be put on ice, not scrapped and thrown away. I'm pretty sure(certainly) that Kojima and del toro came up with some pretty good shit in their studio, in the time that they had developing this game. :(:(:(:(:(:(
