For anyone ready to watch this video, I highly suggest you turn off the *RIDICULOUS* noise! But if you choose to listen to the screech, then be sure to drink a whole bottle of Vodka, smoke 10 joints and get as high as a kite on acid....because you'll need it!
Fantastic kit, fantastic build. It's a damn shame that Horizon Hobby doesn't share this opinion. They seem to be of the opinion that nobody wants to build anymore, and it's just not true. Foam and AS3X is all they give a shit about. Just a damn shame.
@Chubby _warlord Yes, glue. Different glues in different places. Thin, medium, or thick CA glue, common wood glue, or different epoxies, 5 minute, 15 minute, 30 minute. May even use some fiberglass or carbon fiber and finishing resin for reinforcement in some areas, landing gear attachment points, the point where the two wing halve mate, the fire wall attachment points. Its all learned over time. This is not exactly what you would call a beginners kit.
@Chubby _warlord No problem. I suggest a couple of balsa ARFs first. Before I built my first kit, I read the complete build instructions for probably 12-15 different kits. I was able to pick up a lot of knowledge of how the build would work before I ever chose a kit and started building one. A very rewarding experience. The plane you built will always be more special than the plane you bought. Always.
Not sure which is worse the techno-music or that ridiculous anti US imperialism speech. It was the US that built that beautiful P51 that freed Europe from the Nazis and Southeast from Imperial Japan! Nevertheless, great build
Comunque ottimo lavoro.
My reason for subscribing is because the last model I built was from a Carl Goldberg Kit. I found out from the experience is that you develop a knowledge and love of your hand crafted creation!
