In the Thick of it now. Removing the engine for overhaul at Cadillac Aircraft Service. While the engine is away we will do an alternator conversion, add a radio, replace almost everything from firewall forward, clean and paint in there, repair the right seat slide latch, new tires, and whatever else makes sense. Thinking about switching to a fuel valve with a "both" option. So far I am electing to keep the original hand brake as it is performing well. I am sure that will be upgraded at some point.
No, contrary to all my friend's advice I will NOT be moving the nose wheel to the back where it "belongs" LOL I am finding the milk stool endearing. Plus I want to keep flying easy for a bit longer. Still a new pilot at 160hrs
