My grandpa was a remarkable man. Although he was blind he was an artist too, he had an incredible ability to see beyond the physical world. One of the most memorable moments with him happened on the very first day he met me. Despite his blindness, he looked in my direction and confidently told my parents that I would become a superstar one day.
His words have stayed with me throughout my life, serving as a source of motivation and inspiration. His belief in me was unwavering, and it always made me feel special and destined for greatness. Grandpa’s faith in me was a gift that no amount of sight could surpass.
Although he has since passed away, his legacy lives on in the dreams and ambitions he instilled in me. His vision was not limited by his blindness; it was expansive and full of hope. I strive every day to live up to the potential he saw in me, and I carry his words with me as a guiding light (Pa Ebou)
